Scott's origin story is completely different from Hal Jordan's though (and Jordan's is more well known). There was no Green Lantern Corps for Alan Scott.

I'm proud of the fact that I dont know/never knew that..and I'll forget tomorrow any way and dont care :P

Yeah, well, most of that was from Wikipedia after I looked it up to remind myself who Alan Scott was in the first place :D And, more importantly, to make sure I didn't confuse John Stewart and Jon Stewart :D

There was a contest, sponsored by EA, on OS over the last 8 weeks of the Premier League season.

Each week, they gave you 3 players to choose from. You had to pick the player that would have the highest Performance Index that week. A winner was drawn from those who got the right player. I didn't know about it until the sixth week, but each of the three times I entered I guessed correctly. The final week, I was drawn to win the weekly prize.

Today, it arrived. A Blackburn Rovers jersey signed by 19 members of the 2011-12 first team. Sweet!

Well that was a hell of a coincidence. NBC just showed an Olympics commercial that included Shawn and other gymnasts from the US Olympics team a couple years ago.

so the packaging and shipping place that i work at got an order today to ship a 3 pairs of flip-flops to eva longoria. i asked my supervisor if i could be shipped along with them, but he said no.
