The Anything Thread

Though fries that fall out of the box and into the bag are a pain in the ass, am I the only one who finds that the fries in the bottom of the bag, and not in the box, taste better? For some reason, those fries that fall out and end up in the bag are just so much tastier than the ones still in the box. I don't know why.

True story.

Years ago (probably about 2003), I got a call from a tele-marketer one evening and here is how it went:

Asshole: "Good evening Mr. :sf: , I'm (some asshole from some company selling shit you don't want). How are you doing?"

:sf: : "I've had a rough day."

Asshole: "I'm sorry to hear that."

:sf: "I had to bury a baby today."

Asshole: "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I will leave you alone, sir. My apologies."

:sf: : "Thanks."

What I said was completely true. What I failed to mention was that I buried lots of babies all the time. Oh well, whatever works.
