Despite the saying about Vegas, what happens in Tuscaloosa does not stay in Tuscaloosa.

Once you go Pachyaderm... You don't sit straight for weeks.
Big Al was spotted at the free clinic later that day.

Yeah, that bit me in the ass. Of course, I don't think ANYONE expected THAT in the Big Ten CCG. If Ohio State had only won 20-14 or 31-30 or something, especially with a last minute drive/score, they don't end up making the playoff. Now as to whether or not Baylor had still jumped TCU in the final standings and gotten in or TCU had held onto a top 4 ranking, we'll never know. But after horsefucking a 10-win #13 Wisconsin to the tune of 59-0, there was pretty much no way the committee could ignore that and not put Ohio State in the field.
I'm still in disbelief about the result. I started rewatching it on YouTube and I still don't believe it happened.
I agree with Cardale Jones:
I'm telling you, TCU was eliminated the second Baylor won as Baylor then owned H2H and was the One TRUE Champion. The debate was between Baylor and Ohio St. and with Ohio St. not only drubbing Wisconsin but having a superior OOC schedule killed Baylor's chances.
Had Baylor lost, TCU would be in and Ohio St. would be out.
Does Ohio State share their playoff $$$ with the other Big 10 schools? I'm not sure how that all works now.
More or less, yes:
In their 13th game, no less.Quote:
Conference distribution model: all bowl revenue is distributed equally between member institutions (taking into account financial integration plans for newer members) after a pre-determined amount for travel and related expenses is provided to participating institutions.
I gotta wonder, Jeff, if Wisconsin didn't roll over for a payday.

Holy shit! $27.5 million to the ACC for Georgia Tech playing in the Orange Bowl and $27.5 million to the SEC for Mississippi State playing in the Orange Bowl?! How the fuck did they get that setup?! When the hell did the Orange Bowl become worth so much damn money!?
Yeah, that's one that I do not understand.
It has something to do with this, but this I don't understand either.Quote:
Due to its contract, the Orange Bowl delivers a larger payout this season as a non-semifinal bowl. When the Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl aren’t hosting semifinals, the SEC, Big 12, Big Ten and Pac-12 teams appearing in them will receive a payout of $40 million.
Last game of the season. Going to watch the Film room version I think over the regular broadcast.
I'm jumping between Film Room and Command Center.

This game is awesome!
Oregon is going to have to learn to tackle. They keep diving at legs and Elliott is ripping them a new asshole. Ohio State plays smash mouth Big Ten football. Ankle tackles are not going to stop them.
#TheScriptIsDead
Oregon is busy shooting themselves in the foot.
Ohio State is fucking themselves right now. It should be Ohio State driving to make it 28-7 right now. Two fumbles have fucked Ohio State and kept Oregon in the game.

One fumble was force, one was not. Oregon's silly drops were worse. Oregon D is getting worked.
TCU has to be rooting for Oregon, right?
Cardale earned his cash just now
4 turnovers has kept Oregon in the game and looks like they are headed for another score to take the lead
Nearly same spot of the field Winston was
this film room broadcast is EXCELLENT i've learned more about football in this broadcast than the past 25+ years watching football on team
Someone forgot to teach the Oregon defenders on how to wrap up. They beat blocks and hit, but 1st tackler rarely brings down the ballcarrier.
