Amazing stuff, but they're so unknown, I can't find their stuff anywhere, which is unfortunate.

Branching out from the above with three fuckin' AMAZING bands that I found because of ISIS:

3 of my favorite bands. Pelican - Dead Between Walls is skull crushingly good off this same album. Same for Russian Circles - Harper Lewis ...off of Station

The drumming for Russian Circle is so damn amazing and Harper Lewis totally shows that off. One of the reasons why I REALLY like ISIS as well. Drums are my thing. You have a good drummer, I'm gonna be all over your band.
You gotta be a Mastodon and Meshuggah fan then...
And the reason why I fuckin' love this album, song, and band:

Wow...never heard Gojira before. That's actually really musical for that type of music. ...very much 'math metal'.
All of their music is so fuckin' epic man. You should definitely give them a listen if you like the above. The Link album is fuckin' awesome though.
Another great song from it:

Favorite High on Fire song...
Yup. The Link is their first album. Next, From Mars To Sirius as that's their best album tied with The Link (in my opinion, of course). Then you have their newest album The Way of All Flesh and lastly Terra Incognita (which is still VERY good, but the others are just better).
Really, any of their albums you can't go wrong with. It's all really freakin' amazing music.

Waiting on Ram to rip these in 3....2....1
Chris - that 2nd song sounds real familiar. They national? Was in recently in a movie?
I don't know their backstory too much; the GF wanted to see them and bought the tickets. IIRC, they are out of the UK.
I'm pretty sure The Cave has been in some TV shows, not sure about the 2nd. I listen to satellite radio more than terrestrial, but it may have some significant play there.
He doesn't have good enough taste in music to see these guys. :P
The glove doesn't fit...

and they need to go back to the U K...there ya' happy now ? haha
kind of sounds like a lite Billy Bragg without the politics....which is fine, but its just kind of too lite
the one i'm really worried about is MorsD...he's put up like 3 or 4 bands and they all sound like their the same one and just changed their name to fool people for extra cash :D
of course everyone thinks the stuff they listened to in their 20s and high school was the best stuff ever and thats what you identify with when you get older.
But I consider myself a bit of a modern/trendy/sub culture, music historian and the 80s was a renaissance period full of different bands and sub cultures and they were all good and unique and interesting( and some of it was stupid, but the 80s were like the 1920s and everyone was happy and the record companies were throwing out money just seeing what was out there). Its so bland now
..and by the way the 5 Neat guys is not a real band...just in case I needed to say that:D
