I'm also in the process of getting all the comics again.
I don't have anything to add as my obsession with Batman came from Adam West to the 90s movies/cartoons....but I enjoy the "spoiler" discussion in this thread. I'm not sure if I'll see the movie again in theaters....but I do plan to buy Batman Begins on bluray so I can have the whole trilogy to watch back-to-back-to-back.

WESTLAKE, Ohio - A North Ridgeville man was arrested Saturday night after police say he brought weapons into a Westlake movie theater.
Scott A. Smith, 37, entered the 10 p.m. showing of 'The Dark Knight Rises' at Crocker Park Regal Cinemas with a bag full of ammo and knives, according to Westlake police.
Jeremiah Bullins, an off-duty Westlake police officer, noticed and searched Smith's bag. He found three knives in the bag, as well as a loaded 9 mm Glock handgun, two additional loaded magazines, and a fourth knife under his clothes. Each magazine had 17 rounds.
Police said Smith was the first person in the theater at the time of his arrest but up to 80 people would have been there 20 minutes later. He was sitting in the last row in a middle seat. This was a “tactical position,” according to officers, his back to the wall and facing out.
They said Smith made no threats and was taken into custody without incident.
Smith has a wife and 1-year-old child, according to police. They said they searched his North Ridgeville home and found many weapons, including eight additional guns, lots of ammo, a gas mask and bulletproof vest.
Smith was charged Monday with four counts of carrying various weapons for each of the knives, one count of carrying a concealed weapon with no permit for the glock and one count of carrying a weapon while having a disability.
Westlake Police Detective Lieutenant Ray Arcuri told CNN Smith has no criminal record but was in the military for "a very short time." Arcuri also said Smith was on medication but the type cannot be released.
Police said they do not yet know a motive.
Smith is being transferred to a county jail and may be arraigned Wednesday.
The incident comes just more than two weeks after 12 people were killed when James Holmes allegedly opened fire at a midnight showing of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in Aurora, Colorado.

If the media wouldn't keep sensationalizing these guys, copycats wouldn't exist as often.

walked right into that one...yes you did LOL
favorite line in whole movie...Batman turns his head and CatWoman disappears while he's talking to her.
he turns back around and says "so thats what that feels like" LOL...even though he hadnt done that to anyone in 8 years
Apparently Vivid has release a porn parody of The Dark Knight Rises. :D
Porn "movies" make no sense. Does anyone care about the plot? Generic, Guy: "Here's your pizza" Woman: "How will I pay for this?" is really all that's necessary.
We've been hearing whispers and rumors for weeks now about what we might see on The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray, and finally Warner Bros. shed some light on the much-anticipated release. Announced exclusively through EW.com, The Dark Knight Rises will come to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download December 4, 2012.
According to EW, the set will include "a bunch of extras, from a documentary about the Batmobile, where all five Batmobiles are together for the first time, to Ending the Knight, an in-depth look featuring about 17 featurettes at how Nolan and his production team made The Dark Knight Rises, from Batman vs. Bane to totally demolishing a city street. Both the Blu-ray and DVD include a featurette called The Journey of Bruce Wayne. There are also trailers and art galleries."
And just like The Dark Knight before it, which got a nifty Limited Edition Bat Pod box set, Rises will also get an exclusive Limited Edition set, featuring a snazzy statue of the broken Bat Cowl.
No word yet on pricing, tech specs or bonus feature specifics, but it does look like those long-rumored deleted scenes will not be part of the set. Perhaps they're tucked away in the 17 featurettes. The Blu-ray combo pack will also feature a DVD copy and UltraViolet cloud streaming digital copy.
