I'm looking forward to playing with the Rockies picks. Since I've been too busy at work lately to start up my Rockies franchise in The Show, I spent a couple hours last night pulling first round draftees from the OS roster and player makers and importing them into my master roster I intend to use for my franchise.
I was only able to get the first rounders for all teams, along with Daz Cameron for Houston, but I'm probably not going to be too concerned with players from the second (and later) rounds, other than the four picks Colorado made last night, as I'm mainly looking at the players who are most likely to make the majors and not become organizational fillers and career minors players, which are much more likely to be the first round players than players from other rounds.
Since I'm going to be doing this as a year to year save yearly carryover franchise, having the first round draft picks (and all of Colorado's day one picks) from this year will be a nice added touch going into future seasons.
The Cubs went with a solid pick in round one with Happ, but word is they knocked it out of the park in round 2....

Jays are on fire! They are now 33-30 and have won 10 straight games. They are a very exciting team from an offensive stndpoint.
The Jays always catch fire and then crash and burn while the front office sits on their cash and let's it happen. If they are truly serious then they will go out and get some pitching. Trade some prospects and make a run.
Agreed with the pitching. It is the only scary art of this team. Also, I think it's time to move Dickey. I have never been a huge fan and this season has not done a lot to comfort me. Someone younger who with time could develop into a top three pitcher would be ideal.Quote:
