I really didn't care for it, or know much, until I started playing FIFA 12. I was fascinated by the different leagues and competitions and so I started watching it A LOT and started reading A LOT about it so I could understand the importance of what was going on. Now, I'm hooked.

It took me a good 6 months to settle on one.

I wanted a team that has a chance of success but I wouldn't want to root for United, because that's too easy. I wouldn't want a club that teeters on relegation and is never on TV.

I started researching the clubs and found that I had reasons I could hate all of the top clubs. For example, Bin Laden was an Arsenal fan - eliminated.

When I circled back, Chelsea was the only club I only had "unimportant" reasons to not like, in my eyes. Add to it that I have a friend that is a big supporter and that I watched their incredible run through the Champions League, where they were heavy underdogs and put on life support several times (including today), and I made the decision to support then awhile ago.

While I didn't see (until now) the "phallic" in it, it is a strange logo. Plus the fact that they wear red kits basically nullifies the reason I would follow them. Green, clearly green!

But still, they're the only team I have any reason at all to care about.

Yep. England, specifically. Some American sports have started to adopt it as well.

It is just more of a reason to watch MMA instead of boxing.

So glad I didn't waste my money ordering that fight.

My wife and her family are part filipino so there was no choice on the matter for us. lol

boxing is not an elitist sport.

the boxers are 99% low lifes with no other options and the sport is still an underworld haven.

that said, I dont give a flying damn how much you show me about ratings and money that its making = MMA is still a niche sport like the X-games and I dont give a damn about any support or comparisons of it.

when will the world realize that Jai alai is the next big thing ? its only a matter of time :D

Forbes Top 50 Most Valuable Sports Franchises list just came out. Man U is #1, Real Madrid is #2. The interesting thing is ALL 32 NFL teams made the top 50 list.

Has anyone here ever played Fantasy Football?

I know, you're thinking that's a dumb question. The thing is, I'm not talking about American Football.

I'm joining a league, based on the Barclays Premier League, this season and I'm going to a meeting (excuse to hang out in my buddy's AMAZING bar in his house) about the league in the morning.

Just wondering if anyone has ever played. I haven't, but I will this season.
