I posted this in the main area of the boards but since quite a few of Powerhouse are experiencing it, I'll post it here as well...
If you have a relatively reliable connection but starting this year you've noticed more disconnects than normal, here's a tip...
Pause the game before you select your opening kickoff play.
Simple as that. It fixed a lot of woes last year and since it at least appears to be happening to more people this year so it's certainly worth a try for those of you experiencing problems.
I just finished a game with Oneback where our first attempt was disconnected fairly early so on the second attempt, I paused the game prior to the opening kickoff (after the coin toss) and we were able to finish the game without any problems.

Well I can confirm that pausing before the kickoff DOES NOT fix the issue. I've tried to play twice today and have been disconntected both times in the first quarter.
Yeah, I saw that hit up my e-mail this week. Unfortunately, my only current working computer is nowhere near capable of playing EVE. One of the things I might do with my somewhat-extra free time (since I'm barely playing NCAA at this point) is to finally fix my computer.
