Yeah that game might be badass. It's the first of three contracted TMNT games.
Some Sim City fun. Did not want to muck up the Sim City thread. I might be having more fun watching yet another EA colossal launch fuck up then those who bought it.
Oh those user reviews.

People really just need to stop with the bitching about the always online thing. I've had ZERO issues with it being online past the first day. After that, they increased the amount of servers needed and it's been fine ever since.
EVERY SINGLE negative review of it consists of the same two things: always online bitching and "it's not SimCity 4.2" bitching.
What's sad is, most of the people bitching about the always online aspect apparently knew NOTHING about the game before buying it. And, because of that, I say they can go to hell.

HA HA HA that review took awhile for it to sink in , but I get it!!!!!!!!
While I get what you are saying about alwasy being online, it seems that EA is getting for that but more so for the fact that people cannot get on at all due to waiting in queues. Honestly I dont want to wait 20 minutes just to play a game , hell I have kids that might be the only 20 minutes I get that night.

Even funnier is Polygon. They started by giving the game a 9.5, dropped to 8.0 after a few people scoffed at the score due to issues.
Now the review is...

Meh, people are gonna bitch regardless. While I was still able to play the game before my CPU fan took a shit, I only once had a problem getting in, having to wait in queue for 20 minutes to get into the Europe West 2 server. Other than that, I got in without issue and was able to play on multiple servers without problem.
Sex in video games. Quite funny but could be NSFW...
Spoiler: show
Playing Spec Ops: The Line last night. Really digging the single player story. Something you don't get much of in shooters any more. The soundtrack playing through the "radio station" is sweet too. Love this song:

While it's interesting, the fact that it's a 3rd person shooter just totally ruins it for me. The game isn't fun, but the story is interesting (apparently there are some pretty significant twists in the storyline at the end - I was trying to play through it to see them, but, I just can't stand the gameplay enough to power through it).
I actually really dig the gameplay.
The turtle looks awesome. It better have co op off line and online though or it will fail. I don't even know the story behind the new series and what not any more. SO much has changed so back in the day of the classic shows. Does any know where I can watch the new series by download or online?
NPD for Feb 2013
Overall Industry:
Overall retail sales dropped 25% year over year.
Software:
1. Dead Space 3 (360, PS3, PC) Electronic Arts
2. Call of Duty: Black Ops II (360, PS3, Wii U PC) Activision Blizzard
3. Crysis 3 (360, PS3, PC) Electronic Arts
4. NBA 2K13 (360, PS3, Wii, Wii U, PSP, PC) Take-Two Interactive
5. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (PS3, 360) Konami
6. Aliens: Colonial Marines 2013 (360, PS3, PC) Sega
7. Just Dance 4 (Wii, 360, PS3, Wii U) Ubisoft
8. Far Cry 3 (360, PS3, PC) Ubisoft
9. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PS3, PSV) Sony
10. Madden NFL 13 (360, PS3, Wii, PSV, Wii U) Electronic Arts
Hardware:
For sure numbers:
Xbox 360: 302K (-29.1%)
Nintendo Ecosystem (DS/3DS/Wii/Wii U combined): 455K
Calculated numbers:
NPD: “Looking at hardware sales on an average per week basis, all platforms showed an increase from January into February. Specifically, new platforms like the Wii U and PS Vita demonstrated some momentum from the typical January hardware lull with increases of over 40% and 30% respectively.”
Wii U: (57K/5 weeks) = 11.4k * 1.4 = 16k/week * 4 weeks = 64K minimum, since it's "over 40%". Kevin Dent says it's 80K, though I don't know if that's from him or VentureBeat's statement calculation, since they were the first ones to break the news and read it incorrectly.
Vita: Up 30% on a weekly basis. So, it would follow the same formula above, but with 1.3.
You know the WiiU underperformed again when they start lumping them in altogether. Of course that is better than what Sony provides, which lately has been nothing. 360 continues to dominate in the US.
If you are a pinball junkie like I am, you love Pinball Arcade. Lots of tables I played as a kid or just in the past. Well one of those tables is coming as DLC soon. Attack from Mars! Also coming soon is the Star Trek: The Next Generation table. Never played that, but stoked to give it a try.

So Star Trek is coming this Tuesday. Then Attack from Mars! is being bundled with another classic Genie on the following week!
Man I can't wait.
