Falling Skies.... Summer 2012???? WTF... 8 months off?
Got to say I was disappointed in the finale
:(
I haven't watched it yet. Now I don't know if I even want to. Yet another TV show where it's like, "What's the point?"
It seems completely obvious to me that it's disliked enough to where it won't last long so, even if it does start to get good, it's not gonna last long enough to do anything with it.
Spoiler: show
And for those that want to read the above, watch Falling Skies and then read it. ;)
TNT and USA have been decently successful with having shows take breaks between one summer and the next, especially after the first season. So I'm not too worried about that. The finale was satisfactory, to me. Enough questions answered while also having enough stay open.
I'm loving practically everything USA is running right now, lol.
Burn Notice is high on my list, but I'm so far behind on it that I don't usually watch it. When it ends, I'm planning to just buying the entire series on DVD. Or if I ever get Netflix, then I'll catch up.
Now ... In Plain Sight, White Collar, Covert Affairs and Suits ... all awesome.
Even though the DSL was a non-working piece of shit last night, I was able to catch Take the Money and Run.
Spoiler: show
Not sure if anyone has actually watched this show yet since it's a British show on the BBC, but it's called Luther, starring Idris Elba (Stringer Bell from The Wire) and it's fuckin' fantastic. For those of you that have Netflix, it's available on their instant streaming service and it's definitely worth the watch as it's some of the best cop drama television I've ever seen and Elba is at his all time best.
I just watched the 2nd to last ever episode of Rescue Me and wow....
Spoiler: show
Man, that is a show I REALLY need to start watching.
IMO that was a great ending to one of my favorite shows of all-time in Rescue Me.
So James Spader is the new boss on The Office... :fp: it may have another season after this upcoming one but I can't imagine it will continue after that. IMO they should have had one of the existing characters take over and create a new dynamic there, then bring in fresh blood to replace that character's position.
Well IASIP was a bit creepy last night. Stole the gifs from neogaf. They had the one with the hobo sex but I figured it best not to post.
