It ending was the presentation version of premature ejaculation.

Was Spidey insinuating that Watanabe was behind it all at the end?

Dead god, Sony swung and missed hardcore this year. Only like 9 games shown in an hour and 15 minute conference. That 20 minute bloody intermission with talking heads so they could change rooms.
Nioh 2
Control
Death Stranding
Ghosts of Tsushima
The Last of Us 2
Spider-man
Resident Evil 2 Remake
Trovor Saves the Universe
Kingdom Hearts 3
Those were the only games I remember them showing. Between the extreme lack of games and that goddamned intermission, Sony gets MAYBE a C at most.
Spidey gameplay looks AMAZING
Top 5 games of E3
TLOU2
Spiderman
Tomb Raider
Cyberpunk
Ghosts
While it is not over just yet and there still might be some third party reveals to come.
1. TLOU2
2. Fallout 76
3. Unravel 2 (very much enjoying this game)
4. Rage 2
5. Session (Need that skating fix)
Well, we all agree on #1 and literally nothing else. :D
For me, my list goes
#1 The Last of Us 2
#2 The Division 2
#3 Just Cause 4
#4 Skull & Bones
#5 Fallout 76
Honorable mentions go to Dying Light 2, We Happy Few and Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Too tired to rank, but I'm very much looking forward to Fallout 76, TLOU2, Division 2, new Halo if it is open world, Skull & Bones, and Cyberpunk.

So far, I only want 2 games. AC Odyssey and Anthem. Kingdom Hearts 3 is a possibility. Skull and Bones was high on my list until I learned that other players will be in my game attacking me. Hard pass.
I’m waiting to see if Nintendo drops a new Fire Emblem this year and if Animal Crossing is announced. Those will be my top 2 games if both are shown in the Nintendo Direct.

To be fair Skull & Bones was always offered as a PVP game. It's the same as For Honor. I'm not sure that the game would work as an offline only game. However, in For Honor you could choose to play against live opponents or against the cpu. Your teammates would still be humans (which you can mute and not talk to). That way you can control the difficulty.
I was hoping for something along the lines of AC IV: Black Flag which I’m sure was the blueprint for this. I’d be cool if it were Co-op only akin to Anthem or Mass Effect MP but if I’m gonna have to deal with other people attacking me for my plunder, I rather not play that.

I'm not sure how that will work itselt out but I'm not sure this is a game where people can come and steal your stuff. I'm assuming it's more about you battling on the seas for plunder against another team. If you win you keep it. I don't see a situation where people can take that away but I'm not sure.
I jumped on the XBOX Game Pass for $1 so I can try Sea of Thieves and form my own opinion on it. Figured that was the best way to do it.

I knew Fortnite would be available today.
Super Mario Party looks fun! I think by the end of the year I'll have a Switch.
Every single fighter that ever appeared in a Smash Bros. is in the new Smash Bros. Impressive.
A LOT of talk on Smash Bros. (as expected). Almost 30 minutes on it I think...
Whoa. Gamecube controllers are supported on the game.
Ridley from Metroid is a brand new character....nice add!
December 7th for Smash
In all honesty, how long can Nintendo keep milking the same franchises and largely the same games every console generation before people get tired of it?
That’s not a Nintendo thing. That’s an industry thing.

Yep. We're on the 15th Call of Duty, the 11th Battlefield with 13 if you include the Battlefield: Bad Company series, the 11th Assassin's Creed (if you including the smaller games like AC Chronicles, Freedom Cry, etc, that bumps it up to 16 games), we're on the 8th Fallout, we're currently on the 6th main Ghost Recon game with Wildlands. If they ever announce a new Splinter Cell, that'll be the 8th game of the series. The Elder Scrolls has something like 7 or 8 main games in the series. We're up to 15 Final Fantasies now, not including the multiple spin-offs.
Gaming today seems to be 30% new games and 70% remakes/remasters/sequels.
It's an entertainment thing. Hollywood is WORSE.
The budgets for these games/movies is so large now publishers aren't going to risk money on developing new IP when they can just crank out the 1000th comic book/star wars movie or rehash a previously successful "guy" movie and just replace the cast with women. Etc.....
Something else to chime in with what the others have said. Unlike the yearly sequels, Nintendo Franchise are not tossed out yearly. We may not see another Zelda or Mario this gen or it will be at the very end of the Switch lifespan. It took fans almost a decade to get Nintendo to bring back Metroid. Which was a very successful first party game.
