Our next contestant is The Division 2.
Julian Gerighty, the creative director is on stage.
7 months after the events of game one, the virus has mostly burnt itself out, but the nation is tearing itself apart. Under threat from dangerous factions, civilians are trying to rebuild.
Showing a new trailer separate from the one shown at the MS conference. A community of people living in a barricaded shelter is shown, along with a horse walking through the desolate streets. An injured person is crawling on the sidewalk, before being kicked into the street and his water bottle stolen. Two other people with guns are walking by while a woman and her child hide inside a destroyed restaurant.
Back outside into a back alley, dead dogs, bodies, stagnant water, flies and insects. Another civilian with her arms tied behind her back seemingly being dragged off to be executed while someone talks on a megaphone about rules and examples being made.
A gunshot happens off screen as the woman is executed, while a paper airplane flies off into the distance.
Next screen, it's picked up by a group of 3 people, who open it up and see the words Help written on it, while looking at the Washington monument and DC in the distance.
Back on stage, you're the last line of defense for the innocent. If you fail, history will be written by tyrants.
Your actions will have a clear impact on the lives of civilians. You will need to bring your equipment and tactical abilities to the next level.
You will unlock specializations, weapons and skills and you complete the game.
Speaking of teamwork, for the first time, 8 players will be able to partner up in the game to face the ultimate endgame challenge. Raids are coming to The Division 2.
They're launching with plans for years of frequent content updates.
Year One - They will be launching 3 DLCs in the form of episodes, bringing new story, activities and new areas to explore.
All 3 episodes will be completely FREE.
The post-show after the conference will have a 30 minute deep dive into The Division 2.
Closing out with another new video trailer of The Division 2.
The Division 2 will release March 15, 2019.
Register for the beta at thedivisiongame.com/beta
Next up is Mario Rabbids.
Also celebrating the upcoming release of Donkey Kong Adventure. And now another live music performance. :fp:
God I wish they would get rid of VR and live music crap from E3.
That's MAJOR that the DLC is free going forward.

I just signed up for beta access on PS4. If it'll let me sign up for beta on both consoles without overwriting one, I'll also throw in a sign up for Xbox One.
I’ve been waiting to hear about this pirate game all day! If there’s a single player story, I’m in.

Moving on, next up is an Ubisoft Singapore production.
PIRACY IS DEAD flashes on the screen.
LONG LIVE PIRACY flashes next as a voice speaks and video of pirates plays.
Say hello to Skull & Bones!
Goddamn this game looks amazing.
Justin Farren, creative director at Ubi Singapore is on stage now.
Piracy is dead in the Caribbean. So now off to pirate and plunder in the Indian Ocean.
We're going to steal "every last fucking coin".
Reactive and evolving world. There will be changes in factions, the weather and the trade routes themselves.
The essence of Skull & Bones, a shared world where every interaction matters.
Now onto a new video trailer.
I'm getting a very strong Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag vibe as far as controlling your ship, the ocean warfare with cannons, and the overall on the seas controls. It looks very similar, if not the same as it was in Black Flag.
I'm not sure if these other ships in this video are AI or human controlled.
Skull and Bones comes out 2019.
You can sign up for a chance to play early, but I can't see what the website is.
Is this what Sea of Thieves tried to do?

Moving onto the next game, Transference.
Sounds like it's a narrative game. Frodo is on stage!
I still have no clue what the hell this game is about despite them talking about it.
Sounds like it'll be on regular consoles and VR.
This seems like another movie narrative type game similar to Late Shift and others.
It'll be available Fall 2018.
I was interested in Skull and Bones. PvP kills it. Oh well.

Next up, we're watching a video preview of the game Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
I got almost a cross of between a No Man's Sky and Destiny type feel from that video.
It'll be available October 16th.
Our next contestant is For Honor.
Roman Campos-Oriola, the creative director at Ubi Montreal is on stage.
In celebration of E3, they're inviting new players to join.
If you haven't played yet, starting today through next Monday, they're giving away the PC Starter Edition on UPLay for free.
Building on everything that they've learned, they're ready to expand their world.
Now launching into a video trailer.
For Honor Marching Fire DLC is coming.
A new faction, four new fighters, and more coming to For Honor. They biggest and most ambitious addition so far.
Answering a huge request from the community, a new 4 v 4 player mode. It's called Breach, a castle siege mode.
I didn't see a release date for it.
Next we move onto The Crew 2.
In just a few days, freedom will be ours. Vehicles include car, bike, boat and plane.
Releases on June 29th.
The open beta will be available on PS4, XB1 and PC on June 21st, you can preload it now.
Seems a little odd to release a beta literally 8 days before the game itself releases.
Next game takes us to Greece. Assassin's Creed Odyssey is up now.
Just finished a video preview. Now Jonathan Dumont, creative director is on stage.
It's more than an adventure, it's an RPG journey. Both on land and on sea.
The Pelopennesian War will be taking place during Odyssey.
You will choose your characters, Alexios or Kassandra to play as. You share the blood line of the Spartan hero Leonidas and will be able to use his broken spear as a weapon.
They have changed the way they tell stories. You have multiple choices for answers and dialogue and can even lie, as shown in response to a question by Socrates.
And Assassin's Creed Odyssey is coming to your XBox, Playstation and/or PC on October 5th, 2018.
Odyssey looks dope. I need to start Syndicate and Origins.

And music is playing again, everyone who came out during the show is on stage. This appears to be the closing segment of the conference.
No Splinter Cell announced. :(
Also no Watch Dogs 3, though I wasn't realistically expecting it this year, maybe next E3.
