Looks like Suh is still an asshole. Anyone see him kick Morris' helmet off?
Or Jones bash that Raiders receiver's head against his helmet AFTER ripping his helmet off?
Stupid.

Manning and the OC for the Giants... what the hell were you thinking? Absultely stunning. NYG deserved to lose based on that stupidity. Run the damn ball!
That was crazy in the Raiders game. I didn't think anything of the Suh play live. I don't know if that was intentional or not but with Suh he's had a way of doing that stuff and making it appear accidental for awhile.
A lot of teams did not look sharp in week 1. Some good teams lost or struggled. I have to wonder if the blatant sitting of starters in preseason this past year (Packers even sat game 3) has left many teams unprepared to start the year on both offence and defence. Teams have always played more backups in preseason but it was crazy this year. I swear teams only concerned themselves with injuries. I'm glad nfl is considering going to two preseason games. Should be two weeks between last game and start of season too.
Your love for Houston is unfathomable. :D
Skins weren't that great either. That offense is in trouble.
That's why I picked them for last in the North :D
I need to watch the play again. It seemed like Suh wasn't up to anything bad at first. As for Jones. Yeah that was dirty as fuck.
Watch it again. What Suh did was clearly intentional and he tried to disguise it as unintentional. He's a POS.
Just re-watched it. Don't think Suh did anything intentional. The NFL agreed.
Even more Patriots cheating :D :D :D

Looks like Gary Kubiak has Manning trained up just like he likes them. Pick 6 per week.
Suh is going turn out to be a bigger waste of money than Mike Wallace was. When will these dumbass teams learn to quit wasting massive amounts of cash on free agents?

He's a DT. He only has 1 job. Run through the A gap and occupy 2 blockers.
Suh hasn't been good in his first two games but I'm far more worried about the other members on the DL and our second CB spot right now. The defence has been crap. Can't stop the run, can't rush the QB, can't stop big receivers. An all around huge disappointment so far. But the Suh bust talk us premature.
Bears rank dead last in the ESPN Power Poll. Who is the best QB coming out of college this year? :D
The Dolphins are pure shit. They have no heart, no toughness and their coaches are garbage. The DL was supposed to be the backbone of this team but Wake looks like he's got nothing left and Vernon is horrid. No way he gets a good contract. I think they have one sack in three games! That secondary can't cover well enough. Brice McCain is crap. Gets beat a lot and has horrible ball skills. On third and 12 he gave so much cushion it was the easiest third and long conversion I've ever seen.
And this gimmick offence is fooling nobody. Time to take the skirts off and start running the ball more and with power. Time to be less predictable throwing short throws all the time. Defences are ready for it. Almost no play action either. No imagination or execution.
This team is such a disappointment. Worst team in the division. Ugh.
First time since 2011 that the Raiders have more wins than losses at this point in the season.
On a different topic, Brent Grimes wife and loudmouth radio host got arrested before the game after an altercation with cops.

Goodell and the NFL messing with the kick sliders again...
Gave that one away. Nice fucking job, Tomlin and Haley. :fp:
Don't worry, it was only all for the "drama'z", nothing more.
Damn. I was watching on my phone and figured it was over in regulation.

It would have been of any of the following were true:
1) Pittsburgh's 3rd kicker did not suck.
2) Ben Roethlisberger was healthy.
3) Todd Haley was not a douchecanoe and gave the ball to Bell on 3rd & 2.
4) Mike Tomlin ever learned how to manage the clock.
5) Todd Haley was not a douchecanoe and gave the ball to Bell on 4th & 2.
6) Bruce Gradkowski was healthy.
7) Pittsburgh thought outside the box and ran the Wildcat with read option between Bell and Williams.
8) Mike Vick were still in prison.
9) Todd Haley was not a douchecanoe and gave the ball to Bell on 3rd & 2.
10) Mike Tomlin did not think, "Vick my boy. We from Virginia."
11) Landry Jones was not completely worthless.
12) Todd Haley was not a douchecanoe and gave the ball to Bell on 4th & 1.
And on and on...
:D

I wholeheartedly support the multiple uses of douchecanoe. Both the perfect description of those play calls, and just an overall great and fun word to use and say. :D
That Vick sweep was a great call. In 2003.

Talk about missing a chance to put a nail in the Ravens coffin. I didn't see much of the game but I had tuned in when it was 20-7 and saw the Ravens climb to 20-14 and then miss the fake FG try. Vick just isn't a good passer. He's never read the field well, has no concept of timing and as a result takes a ridiculous number of sacks for someone so athletic.
The NFL just does not have a good group of QBs as backups. If someone goes down there are very few teams that can be confident in #2. What I don't understand is guys saying they need a development league. While we did get Kurt Warner out of NFL Europe the NFL didn't even recognize Warner's ability. He was cut and left off the Rams expansion list (but wasn't taken) and only got his shot after Trent Green went down. They are terrible at recognizing and developing talent. Just use the CFL. I'm kind of surprised teams haven't done more of that. Moon, Theisman and Flutie all came from the CFL. Henry Burris was tried but never given a real shot. I'd like to see teams be a little more open to them. If Zach Collaros hadn't wrecked his ACL I wonder if an NFL team would have come calling. Only 27 and operated the spread at Cinci. Bo Levi Mitchell is a 25 year old QB from Eastern Washington doing well with Calgary. Could be an option.
Snoop Dog goes off on Scobee

It does suck when you have to turn into video game tactics of going for it on 4th downs because you don't have a capable or reliable kicker
Tucker confidently strutted out and nailed multiple 40 yarders and a 50 yarder for the win.
I'm not sure the Steelers are even confident theirs can make the PAT consistently for fuck's sake. And he even nearly missed the 2 FG's he did make! Granted 1 was partially blocked.
Unfortunately I see him playing a part in even more losses this season. Remember he also missed 2 in the first week as well...which were kind of big also
Also on that QB Sprint out that failed. If the blocking were the same it wouldn't have matter if Bell, Bettis, Franco Harris or anyone got the ball there...the way the Oline got manhandled on it
Not going to happen. Scobee will be cut today. Guaranteed. No way you can keep him when you have no confidence in him. Not much out there but a warm blooded body can do just as good.
Scientifically, they should've been going for it anyway.
http://www.scientificamerican.com/ar...ams-4th-downs/
Oh I agree should have been going for those but even if the FG's were closer I imagine still wouldn't have sent the kicker out given his perchant for missing kicks already in this early season.
All things considered still feeling good about this team this year.
All-Pro Center is out, QB is out, Bryant has been out past 4 games, Bell was out 2 games, 3rd kicker of the season before Week 1...and still should be sitting at 3-1 right now and had numerous chances against New England with an out of sync Defense
