Yeah, I contacted their support on Wednesday. I got the confirmation emails for the points, but there were no codes in them. I have bought a few used games from Amazon Warehouse and when they say LIKE NEW, I get something LIKE NEW. Will just have to wait and see what happens. I still think they are wavering a bit and after all the bad consumer feedback they are getting, things could change by E3. If not, Sony has a clear advantage.Quote:

Not surprisingly, it appears based on the back of the console that there's no Component out or similar. While that's obviously a good thing in terms of getting away from old technology, it's a bad thing for anyone with an HD-PVR or similar device. You can purchase an HDMI to Component converter but it can be spotty. Here's hoping that they (and more importantly Sony) won't use HDCP when play games so that the El Gato and other devices can work.

360 didn't need it because it didn't have a Blu-Ray drive; it's a requirement for Blu-Ray movies. For example, you can't watch Blu-Ray movies over a regular PC Monitor connection, it has to be connected via HDMI.
