What is story on slider adjustments postseason?
well Scott lasted 2 quarters. first carry in the 3rd quarter, out for the game.
14 carries 56 yards 1 TD.
still a good season for him, breaking the school record and all, but man, it seemed like he got hurt every single game. :D
well, Nevermind. I forced him to play a little more. :P
Maryland defeats Georgia 20-3 in the chick-fil-A bowl. Defense and ball control was the key for the Terps. A great way to end the season. Da Rel Scott won player of the game, although noticeably in pain(was a lot slower) after a 3rd quarter injury, but he continued to play until the 4th when he was benched for the final drive to run out the clock. Scott finished with 24 carries 111 yards 1 TD. MLB Alex Wujiak had 10 tackles on the day and a forced fumble. he finished with 91 solo tackles(115 total tackles) in the season. I will really miss him(he is a senior)
Georgia was held to 92 yards of total offense, while Maryland racked up 340 yards. only 1 turnover in the game, fumble by Georgia. Maryland easily won the T.O.P. with 23:35 to Georgia's 8:25.
Give me a day or two probably.....looks like we're going to have our baby tonight.
I'll be playing the Gator Bowl tonight after the wife gets done watching America's Got Talent. :(
Romo and I are going to play in the Orange Bowl tonight.
Well Northwestern ended the year at 10-3 by defeating Tennessee in the Gator bowl. Sidney Stewart went over 1000 yards receiving for the year in the game and linebacker Devine ended the season with 90 total tackles. Looking forward to off season recruiting and what a 10 win season will bring my Northwestern team in that.
Just started bowl game against Romo (Alabama) .... UGH without my top two RB's and starting QB :(
Well that mercifully ended LOL lost 45-14. Paid the price for winning the ACC Championship....
CDJ & Austin are the last two guys left to play their bowl games....
LSU is your BCS National Champions!!!! Took down a tuff Boise St. team. I apologize to you guys for not keeping the board updated with how my games went, but I just don't have a whole lot of time to spare at the moment. The SEC championship was a shocker as Tennessee took the lead with 34 seconds left. Thankfully I had all 3 timeouts and they left the middle of the field wide open for 3 big gains and allowed me to get into fg range to kick the game winning fg. Hopefully sometime in the near future all get a little more free time to do writeups on a consistent basis. Looking forward to next season!
Austin, if you can get your game in tonight we can advance and try to knock out of the offseason stuff over the weekend.
I'm all for knocking out the end of season stuff this weekend, but I work 7am to 5pm eastern Saturday and Sunday, and my kids do not go to sleep til 800pm eastern. I will be on as much as possible during my down time.
Shoot I forgot Iowa plays Arizona at 1030pm eastern on Saturday as well. But if all goes well I can squeeze in a couple hours on Saturday after 8pm before the game and be on after 8pm on Sunday to finish it up.
for me, I wont need to do too much in the off-season. my recruiting class is basically done. I'll check out the 'new' recruits that generates in the off-season and see if any are interested in me and if they're any good. other than that, my actual recruiting is done for this year. I had a pretty small class leaving(12 or so seniors), so I didn't need to recruit that many players. just need to do the other things(players leaving, position changes, etc...)
We're home. Planning on playing a bit later tonight.
So what teams/conferences are you guys using now?
We have advanced to players leaving....each step of the way for post season is going to be 24 hours to advance. Will advance tomorrow afternoon.
I didn't even sneak into the top 25 post bowl games. lame.
lost @ the National Champs, and 3 OT loses(2 to ACC champ Miami, other to then ranked Oregon State). you'll think I would be ranked ahead of the other 4-loss teams. conspiracy I say! :D
anyway, finished players leaving.
WR Torry Smith wanted to go pro, but he agreed with me in that Education is important, so he'll be back for his senior year.
HB Caleb Porzel wanted to transfer to Western Michigan, but decided to stay at Maryland.
and finally TE Matt Furstenburg wasted to transfer to Ball State. couldn't get him to stay.
that is it. Drummond is staying. :))
big Maryland losses due to graduation:
MLB Alexz Wujciak - 91 solo tackles, 24 assist tackles 1 Int, 1 sack, 4 FF, 1 FR
LOLB Adrian Moten -30 solo tackles, 9 assist 1 sack, 1 Int, 1 FF
HB Da Rel Scott - 263 carries 1732 yards 15 TDs
SS Antwine Perez - 38 solo tackles 12 assist 2 Int 3 FF
my defense will take a hit, but thankfully sack master Derek Drummond is coming back. ;)
I'm running with Northwestern, sorry man.
the teams currently in use:
Maryland
Miami
Virginia Tech
Alabama
LSU
Northwestern
Michigan
I will have my first week stuff done after 8pm eastern
Oh ok. Well, then let's go with Purdue then.
(and thanks for the list of used teams Solidice)
I am done with week 1 recruiting. I only have 10 targets so I should be able to be done quickly each week.
Question though did I miss the transfer advance?
I'll advance at 10PM central tonight.
Awesome I work til midnight eastern time. I will get my stuff done for week 2 right after I get home about 130am eastern. We are not moving at to bad of a pace.
I added some of the 'new' recruits to my board, but the chance of actually getting them are slim to none. so my recruiting for season 1 is basically done. I signed 13 people I think, I only had 11 seniors and 1 person transfer out, so I should be right at 70 total players. came out perfect.
Okay still take a look when you can, my goal is to advance at 10PM or so every night til we're ready to go.
Got too involved in recording some videos last night...forgot to advance, will do it first thing when I get home from work.
Advancing now....didn't have time between work and jammin with the band....
