The statement suggests the new coach won't be named before the bowl game, but these things always have the potential to accelerate. Joyner undoubtedly is aware of the view that Penn State has moved too slowly with this process, particularly with recruiting season in full swing.
But if there were ever a time to ensure the right hire is made, this would be it.

Today's Penn State coaching search winds are blowing towards Rutgers Head Coach Greg Schiano.
The daily winds are certainly blowing something, yesterday it was Peterson till he was given an extension. It was Richt earlier in the day as well but now with the swift key strokes it's now Schiano :smh:Quote:
