Yeah, I'm not one to normally go watch horror movies in the theater but this one has me intrigued. Not sure if I'll see it in the theater or wait but definitely play to see it eventually.

- For those of you who were eagerly anticipating the June 29 release of the "G.I. Joe" sequel, your wait just got longer. In a surprise bit of movie-schedule shuffling, Paramount has pushed back the release of "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" from this summer to March 29, 2013.
- How the move may hurt movie tie-ins & partners
:D :D :D
Talk about a completely shit movie. No movie worth a damn gets pushed back.
It at least looks better then the previous GI Joe movie.
 This really sucks. I was looking forward to seeing it this summer. It does make you wonder what the real reason it's being pushed back to 2013. Maybe they thought it would be lost in the mix considering Spider-Man and Batman movies would be released around the same time.
Funny thing on Battleship is it was a HUGE earner overseas. They made their money regardless of how it does in the U.S.
I read an article two or three weeks ago that studios are going to be doing that more and more to avoid having disastrous box office results by debuting in the US first (or at the same time). Battleship was the movie used in the example. :D The studio knew it was going to be a dud from the get-go here in the states.
With GI Joe: Retaliation saying they are adding 3D to help with the take from foreign markets, that's more than a little concerning about the film's quality. I thought the previews made it look a lot better than the first, but you have to wonder if Battleship's fate + focus testing proved otherwise.
More info on the GI Joe: Retaliation delay. Some spoilers in article as changes being made relate to the plot.
I sure hope this movie doesn't suck for as much hype as it is generating.

I agree man. I'm excited for it. It's been released in England and stuff already and has favorable reviews all over twitter and on Rottentomatoes. I'm definitely gonna go see it the day it comes out.
I'm definitely interested in seeing Prometheus.

Same writer as previous movies but the writer is also now directing. I'm cautiously optimistic from this trailer... though I'm afraid I'll be disappointed.
Prometheus went from no interest to solid interest (when I found out LOST producer is one of the writers) to unsure (seeing Stephen A. Smith & ESPN promoting it). It's one of the few movies between now and July that have caught my interest, so I might so see it sometime.
Haven't seen the trailer and not interested to see the trailer either. I'll probably check it out (the movie) if there's nothing else worth watching in that timeframe, but, most likely, will wait until the general consensus is whether or not it's any good before seeing it.
The movie will be really cheesy and campy, but at least the movie poster gets a

I'm starting to think that I want to see this.

HAHA that looks awesome awesome. Peter Griffin voice.
Just got back from watching Prometheus.
:fdown:
That bad?
This is exactly why I have refused to get bent over and raped by movie ticket prices (and food and drinks prices if you happen to want anything) just to go see a movie in theaters. Unless I am absolutely damn sure the movie is going to be the best damn movie I've ever seen, it's not worth it. I'll wait to either rent it or buy it when it comes out on DVD and Blu-ray.
Just saw Madagascar and it was very good. Worth seeing in 3D too! Kids loved it as wel.
Really? The first movie was awesome but this one seems redundant.
I've never seen Taken but it has always looked like a cool movie to me.
