No problem everyone, I like the community, just doing my part. It's just about done, the second video. I forgot to mute the part when my friend in the background kinda screamed over the long run early in the OKST/Missou game lol.
quick opinion about the gameplay now that i've watched it a bit. I always thought that NCAA 12 didn't need to change too much about the gameplay, just tweak, and polish necessary areas. I've made peace that OL/DL interactions, now matter what sliders, ratings etc. we have, it's not going to be what we want it to be on these consoles. The majority of the ratings we do have, don't mean anything, so don't add more meaningless ratings imo. Defense, running animations look great to me. Can't really judge until we play the demo, but from the video, that's what it looks like to me.
Love that "what a cut comment in that first vid"

have at it.
I don't remember who but I remember someone posting about the DLine falling down to often. I rewatched the first video and got the following:
There were 14 offensive snaps total in that quarter. 9 Passes and 5 runs.
There were 6 defensive guys that ended up on the ground. In 2 of those that guy was double teamed. In 1 of those it was user controlled by Ben and it appeared to me like he was trying a move and did it to soon.
I don't think that is any concern atleast from me as there are often many times a Dlineman or Olineman on the ground after the play and that doesn't seem far fetched by any means.
Play 2 of that first video I enjoyed watching a few times. Appeared to be Cover 2 Man and that hole was there and shut very quickly by the CPU.
I am a big fan of the way the ball carriers move, in every aspect EXCEPT left stick cutting right to left to right etc. The planting in these instances is not accounted for. If there were some way to tweak and slow down whatever rating and/or animation encompasses this change of direction movement, it would be GOLDEN in terms of momentum. It's clear that not every player has the same speed during cod, but EVERYONE needs to be slowed down just a bit in ONLY this way. Other than that, the game plays at a great pace up the field and tackles happen very fluidly.
I'll need to see a lot more to tell how defensive movement is going to play out. I'm interested in the cd info return.
gschwendt, PM me your email address, and i'll send the video in a RAR format, that should work better.
EDIT : nvm, too big. i'll just upload the RAR. Damn technology. lol.

RAR version, I DL'ed, it worked.
Yeah it would be awesome if the CD guys were able to record a whole game for upload on here. I doubt EA would allow them to show it until around E3 time when the actual in-game videos usually start showing up online. To be honest though that would be ok with me since I can get a better judge of gameplay in NCAA 12 when I watch actual sim style football than what we see in videos like these today.
yeah, I think in the future, if EA wants to do the livestream events, then have another player opposite of Ben that knows how to play the game.
Oh BTW, my voice is not that high pitched, I was just excited lol. I sound more like a 20 year old in party chats .
IMO, there should have been two guys from EA... one to play the game (opposite whomever), and one to answer questions while they play the game. They could have gotten through quite a few more questions had they not had the distraction of playing the game at the same time.
Things I noticed....
-While the blocking of the pulling linemen looks improved, the blocking of anybody lined up off the line is still pretty bad. If you look atthe first play Ben called in the FSU game Ace F Pair Twins, the second TE doesnt try to block the invert and gets in the way of the first TE's block of the invert. Play still went for positve yards.
-Loving the DE pass rush angles.

- New formation from florida looks interesting I wonder if its a glitch or a actual formation though

- Gschewendt, Bottom left corner of this box says Choose Style

Keontez, I think that is a variation of the "Tight Doubles" formation from Madden. It's one of my favorites, but I think that's what it is.
EDIT : IGN comes through with much better quality, will step my game up soon lol.
I like pretty much everything I've seen in the three videos. One thing that did bother me was at about 2:50 into the third video where the mizz safety seemed to stop for no reason leaving the receiver wide open over the middle.
Never mind, lol. Didn't realize how many pages of comments I had missed.
oh wow....
Sooo basically we can do everything from the web now?
wow sweet, now i can guilt trip the last person to be ready in the week to just super sim their game!!
I have a weird thing about reading threads from the last page heading back to the first. Click on it and I see we can advance from the web. Great stuff!
Interesting to note that Greg refused to answer the question about more camera angles saying he would discuss that at a later date. Hmmm....
Greg also said the cpu QB scrambles more. I need to see this for myself.
Rosters to stay at 70.
Overall to me the game looks pretty much the same, I guess just cleaner if you will. Oh well thats fine with me.
Did they fix supersim to not have the score be 115-30 against really shitty teams? Is the web feature still buggy as hell so there's no point in using it?
Also I know it's a small thing, but was anyone afraid by the fact they didn't plaster the "WIP LOGO" onto the screen?
I used the sim function alot especially when I was playing with TCU and played crappy teams 7 games out of the year.
I have never had a game get that high when using the sim I did hit the 80's a couple of times though so I guess it is possible, if anything they should have it were my players cannot get hurt using the sim function that pisses me off more than anything.
LOL so are you afraid that what you see is what you get??
Also the pass rush didnt seem to bad to me can someone point out a specific spot where they thought it was overdone?
from the way that reads about super sim is that you can now call the plays? and the play itself is sim'd... dont know if they can answer that question but that seems to be the translation i am getting from that... we can already "super sim" but that says "call your games" which i am taking as call your plays, more of a "coach" setup... which is cool if thats the case
"E"
Well, when players can still cut on a dime without losing an ounce of speed, yes that worries me.
Also, there was little to no pressure through the course of both games. The CPU QB awareness scared me as well, they boasted about the CPU now scrambles, but the QB would sit in the pocket for 5-6 seconds with everyone blanketed and made no attempt to roll out/scramble.
in regards to camera angles, broadcast cam was brought up for a tiny second, so yes, there should be more than one camera again.
