Uhm ... duh?
That's kinda like the script thing I was talking about ... I don't mind that the script is there, in fact, I knew it was (though I do think it's weird it appears the script is both on the screen and printed ...) ... it was how blatantly they showed it.
Insert Kevin Butler Come On!
All the talk about concussions in pro football causes me to raise the question ... are concussions a common problem in wrestling? I saw Jason Witten's head hit the field in the Cowboys game, and the first thing I thought of is how wrestlers are taught to tuck their chin.
I realize it's a big difference between professional football and professional wrestling ... but I wonder if, in concert with educating the players and improving equipment ... I wonder if we should be teaching players how to take a hit and lower the risk to themselves. Not teach them not to compete, but just to protect themselves from the hits.
It amazes me how much better the WWE commentary is when they re-record it after taping. Well, I guess that isn't too amazing, but still ... I notice it every time.
Raw actually took the time to use computer-generated graphics for the background of the General Manager PC. Oy.

This is an EXCELLENT article that talks about just how horrible TNA treats their talent. Very good read.
Anybody got a clue why WWE is going "Old-School" tonight? Unless it's just a desperate attempt at ratings / PPV buys, I don't see a reason to do it tonight. Survivor Series has no "old school" connection that I know of.
So TNA pays their wrestlers shitty, but will spend $18k for a special world title for Jeff Hardy LOL deja vu WCW?
Also, Alberto Del Rio is one of my new favorites....the dude is awesome.
It's regularly amazing to me when companies will epically fail when it comes to marketing.
Take WWE for example. They just had a near-teary goodbye from John Cena. Michael Cole calls it one of the "most emotional moments in the history of RAW".
On the very next commercial break, an advertisement runs for a special Raw touring show in late December from Washington DC ... with a fatal four way between Cena, Barrett, Orton and The Miz. Sigh. So for anyone in the DC area, Cena's "firing" lasted about 2 minutes.
Spoiler: show
The best part about that season of the Real World........

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWESOME .... Miz is WWE Champ!
C'mon Jeff...dude is good.
Was hilarious when CM Punk threw out some shots at Alex Riley for his recent DUI....overall I think Punk was pretty good. And overall I think Riley was lit:

Dude is better than I ever thought he would be.
But he's not that good.
Though his victory did cause me to go back and look at the Tough Enough rosters from over the years. I completely forgot that John Morrison was Tough Enough too. I just remember Maven, actually.
Okay I'm usually more tolerant than most on creative's shitty ideas....but seriously....Juan Cena? His "legendary" Mexican cousin.
