You know the thing I loved most about the Oklahoma/Nebraska rivalry was that there was no need for a trophy or a bucket or a pig or gold hat, etc, etc and it did not have to be called anything but OU-Nebraska or Nebraska-OU, depending on that side if the fence you were sitting on. I'll be honest; I REALLY do not like Nebraska, so I am one of the few fans of a Big 10 team (especially a Penn State fan) that is very disappointed that Nebraska is in the conference.
But, like it or not, you guys are here and you're our permanent cross-over game. What do you guys think of that? I know that 99% of Penn State fans are practically having an orgasm because of it.
I thought you guys were going to win the conference until Wisconsin got Russell Wilson. Still, I think the Big 10 title will be a Wisky/Nebraska rematch. I think I'll have to swallow some vomit and root for Wisky in that game. ;)

I'm not a fan of forced rivalries and trophies. The old trophies based upon stolen bells, water jugs, etc. have history and meaning. Sponsored or manufactured trophies, not so much.

Sorry to hear that. He was not having a great season but he was a solid player.
He wasn't the same following his concussion versus Washington. While a big loss, he hadn't been a huge factor this year. The defense really can't afford many losses though given their struggles this season.Quote:
