Pulling off a bowl win
The Rice head coach finally notches his first bowl win, barely eking out a victory against a tough West Virginia team. Once again, the defense does just enough to win, and the offense has good ball control, only giving up one turnover. This was a great win to finish off the head coach's first season, and to give the seniors a great sendoff. It's yet to be seen whether the head coach will stick around, or whether Rice itself can continue its success with so many players graduating.

I think I'll be accepting Rice's extension. Knowing my likelihood of poor games in the passing game, I didn't want to risk the Air Force job, plus I like HC-ing anyway. Besides, they're not guaranteed. I could look around, but... I won't.
