I think they put safeguards in place to prevent that. Even if so, I think we can all agree to not accept that offer in that case. Unlike the current Coach Contract system, if you're a decent candidate you shouldn't be hurting for offers ... I would expect that once we start generating offers, we'll see at least a few each season.

Since they've announced that User vs User games will be played with the user having control over both sides of the ball, I don't think there'd be any way for two users to be in control of one team.

Is there a date window that we're looking to start in?

With release on the 12th, and no Ohio State Teambuilder to hold us up, I'd guess no later than the 25th.

If I can join the OD without a system I can still get games in online. I'll just pay the 2.99 to sim online.

CUSTOM PLAYBOOKS!!!

Finally, we can again decide what to include and what to exclude from our playbooks. For the last several releases I have had trouble finding the plays I wanted because there are so many and so many duplicates in the same and other formations. Now we will be able to set the playbook up the way we want it to be. Include the sets we want and get rid of the ones we don't use.

If Zone Defense plays as well as they indicate it will, many pass heavy users might have to start running the ball more rather than just pass the ball all over the field scoring 60 points a game. I like what I am seeing so far with 2012.

hey jeff/g/oneback i forgot to ask a few weeks ago but did you (can you) talk about how sliders affect the OD this year? is it the same old same old or can you actually tweak some stuff for UvU?

I'm fairly certain that sliders won't effect UvU. Honestly though, with the current slider setup we have, I don't think I would want them to. I think what I would want to see is sliders for U vs CPU and UvU games separately... that way you can tweak them as needed without worrying about handicapping the other game too much.

Has there been any thought of running 2 dynasties this year? One starting as coordinators at lower level schools, and another as a traditional "Powerhouse" dynasty?

for sure G, guess i didn't think it that far through, that would be an amazing addition for next season. Being able to set Heisman for CPU games with sliders and then whatever you want for UvU (or whatever difficulty you like for CPU games).

This is something that I would love to see as well. This would be a huge thing for 2013 if we could get it in there. Maybe wishlist tourney?

why do u all eve bother to post at utopia about the game lol, each of you has probably played 30+ user v user games in this OD alone.

That's what I responded to Rhombic with. I've easily played 150+ online games in NCAA 11, 100 of those being randoms.

Can we at least advance to next season when we crown our MNC this year so I can see what my team looks like next season. My 5 stars are just now gonna see some serious playing time next season.

I think that's what they're gonna do. Jeff is taking over to finish out next season before 12 comes out.

Nobody's really seemed that interested in continuing to play. I know you were, and if you wanted to I'd be willing to switch commissioner over to you or anyone else who wants to continue if I choose to bow out. I want to at least get into Week 1 or so next season so I can get a feel for one recruit in particular.

there is really no reason to if you are just going to post in the ncaa game section...the other video game section and other parts of the forum can be fun though.
