IndyCar vet Dan Wheldon has died after a massive 13 car wreck at the Las Vegas Indy 300 today. :( I haven't really watched IndyCar much in recent years ever since Defiance-native Sam Hornish Jr. moved on to NASCAR, but Dan was always fun to watch back in the day. Racing (on any and all levels) lost a great man today.
That was really horrific how he shot into that wall cockpit first above the safe barrier. :smh:

Holy shit! 5 hours, 53 minutes, Novak Djokovic defends his title as Australian Open champion, defeating Rafael Nadal 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7 (5), 7-5. This was an absolute HELL of a match. This one has got to go down as the greatest match in Australian Open tournament history, and quite possibly as one of the greatest Men's Singles championship matches in Grand Slam history.

A HELL of a match going on right now, with Fremantle 12.8 (80) leading Geelong 12.7 (79) at the end of three quarter time. Now ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3 need to get off their asses and get these games on TV and online. Otherwise, I'm gonna end up very tempted to purchase that $99 annual subscription to AFL.TV to watch these matches online all season long.
