I mean one mistake a game isnt bad, its just one mistake more then I want lol. Im pretty good with the DL and what not..im more just disgusted about how invisible they are on the passrush

I'm getting better as each game goes by with the MLB...it was tough at first though.
I pretty much only control the RE on defense then switch once the play starts and I identify where they play is going. I can usually make some pretty goood plays chasing down ball carriers from the backside w/ my DE or stopping outside runs to my side which frustrates people I play against. I will occasionally control the FS but the lack of ability to swat the ball in the air has made me stay away because it will cause big plays on deep passes.
Ive been controlling ny best passrusher in som lab games. Im much happier lol
I have been doing pretty good so far controlling the MLB. I am thinking of editing my MLB on UAB and put casts on his hands though, because he had like 3 or 4 easy picks against E that he just dropped. Johnson on Bama has been a BLAST to play with so far. Love his 92 speed and the ability to make plays sideline to sideline.
screw it. ill just suck it up and get used to it :D
nykia31 & I just played a scrimmage and I livestreamed it. It worked really well and neither of us experienced any slowdowns whatsoever.
Here's the full game (Arkansas State vs UConn)

I mainly use a LBer or safety to control the running game and switch to a defender to play the ball while in the air. I haven't had may problems on deep balls when switching, but if I am manually walling with a LBer its really hard to make a play on the ball.
I've been currently using the MLB after playing the D-Line for so many years.
I think it is just a case of breaking some habits from the past, that no longer work. Playing some lab games, and just focusing on making the plays that I can make, and not trying for the super man INT, has made life better.
How would you guys feel about lowering the # of minutes per quarter? I know some of you have had incredibly exciting games, but I feel like the game is a lot longer this year than in previous editions. Just wondering how others are feeling about the length of a game.
If we went down I would say no less than 7. We did 9 last year and that was too long IMO. So far I've been ok with 8.
I find 8 alright.
Notre Dame-Michigan should be up tonight!
8 minute games this year feel like 9 minutes used to. I think it's the increased cutscenes, or something. A single game should not take me as long as they do now.
I find 8 to be good. I like the total number of snaps and would hate to see that lowered anymore.
I like 8, too....especially for user games.
I think 8 takes longer because of the slow game speed
I play on 7 min quarters and normal game speed in my OD and get good scores and a good variety of low scoring and high scoring games. When I get a chance I'll post snap counts of games
I'll be blunt: My problem is that at least two of my OD games have taken 90+ minutes. That's crazy, and feels like a drastic change from the past, unless I'm just totally misremembering.
I think the cutscenes are making them longer. But I'm sure that my last game went at least 2 hours.
I thought about posting stats, but if you go to the Dynasty wire webiste and look up "321BCS" it will give you a better picture. So you can see the other users games and stats also based on their playstyles.

As long as we're only "SLOW" game speed, Shotgun HB Counter plays may not work, depending on your playbook. :smh:
In case you guys haven't seen, I'm starting a recruiting only OD if any of you are interested.

To be fair, I do work in QA (albeit not at EA), and unless I knew that there was code specific to "SLOW" game speed (which I'm not sure there is, it may just be a coincidence rather than a cause), I would never test that. Test every play, sure. But every play, every play style, and every game speed? No way.
Shouldn't be.
Must be the same glitch as the counter on slow. The game must be reading their knee touching the ground and stopping the play.
I had it happen once, but when I looked back at the replay, I noticed that the animation did have the knee touch the ground. It didn't look like it live, but it did on replay.
OB, did you break any controllers this game?
I would have yanked some WR's scholarships!
At one point I almost did yes, the controller was freakishly still clinging to the last millimeter on my fingers. I think it was the overthrow on one of my last possessions that did it.
I still can't believe how many balls my WR's dropped, not that I'm really that surprised as its been that way all season long. The last two drops were killer, would have brought me to within 3 with another chance at a onside kick.
Watching the video just confirms how bad I played on defense, especially against the pass. Like nykia stated though it was one of those games where HFA just started to snowball on me.
Finally figured out, in the course of my game against Papa, that I've been trying to use Finesse Moves with guys that, well, such as Finesse Moves. So I started using the Bull Rush last night and while it didn't work as well as I'd hope, it worked well enough. I had one play where I whipped the OL with my DT, and came straight in for a sack. That was so satisfying.
Go ahead and get this conversation started ...
Does anybody think we still need "you can only bring back X players" rules for Players Leaving this year? For anyone who hasn't gone through an offseason yet, the Players Leaving stage has completely changed. However, despite the change that you have to make promises this year, I've found that convincing someone to stay (at least guys going to the draft) is pretty damn easy. Transfers are hard, but Draft declarees are really, really easy.
