So everything from the 2nd deck up is brand new?
Yeah, essentially. We had a press box up there before and the two concrete columns in the middle are from it, but we gutted everything in between those columns then expanded it width-wise (barely went past the concrete columns before) as well as depth-wise.
Here's a previous post I made that does a side-by-side comparison of old and new design.
That's awesome, G.
Nice!
Great article today from Ramzy at Eleven Warriors taking a look at how thin the line is between players we love and players we "hate" (read: it's all about the jersey color)

Rumors are circulating that UAB told the NCAA that they will be resurrecting football and remaining in CUSA. Press conference at 4pm.
I sure as hell hope so! However question is, how much damage has already been done with players transferring elsewhere and various coaches looking for positions on other staffs? I'm highly doubtful we're gonna see a repeat of the season UAB had last year.
Can't imagine many actual scholarship guys still there. Surely those players would have transferred to other schools.
I foresee alot open tryouts happening.
UAB is coming back in 2016 at the earliest.

I'm just amazed they can do this, tear down and rebuild in 1 off-season.

Latest look at ASU's stadium updates. Nearing completion.
Nearing completion is the best part of any erection project.

The Sun Belt Conference appears to have their sights on 12 football members, or at least add some insurance teams to prepare for the next poaching by upper conferences.
Last week it came out that SBC officials have been talking with both Coastal Carolina and Eastern Kentucky about the possibility of them joining. While EKU is poised fairly well to join FBS football, CCU is still building up their football program and would need a few years. The idea is that EKU would join for all sports while CCU would only join for Olympic sports for the first few years. Eventually, both would be full members. At that time, the conference might look something like this:
West East Arkansas State
New Mexico St.
South Alabama
Texas State
UL Lafayette
UL MonroeAppalachian State
Coastal Carolina
Eastern Kentucky
Georgia Southern
Georgia State
Troy
If all of that were to come to fruition, Idaho would quickly be left out in the cold and almost certainly have to drop down to FCS.
I like Idaho, but honestly, it'd be the best for them. No conferences want them because they don't fit outside of the Mountain West, they haven't had a good team in years and don't add anything to TV deals since Boise State is already there and more popular.
If they drop down, they can instantly slide right into a couple conferences without any issue and they can resume their rivalry with Montana and Idaho State and maybe pick up some others in the Big Sky, where as they basically only have two in FBS, with Boise State, which they were on the receiving end of a yearly bitch slapping from 1999 to 2010 when the rivalry ended, and Washington State, which they haven't won since 2000 and have only played one game since 2007.
And the NLRB pulls out the pimp slapping glove and smacks the Northwestern players down.
Arkansas State is getting one of the fastest players in college football to transfer in from TCU.
He wants to play QB next season but he'll have solid competition as we have a RSFr this season that is the heir apparent. He does have an arm though...

SEC out-of-conference opponent or unaccredited university?
You correctly answered
12 out of 14
The fact I missed two was more embarrassing for the SEC than me.
12 of 14. I had :dunce: moments on James Monroe and Columbia State.

It helps being the flagship school, but this is a great visual representation of why Nike is considered cool and competitors (namely adidas) are not (as much).

That was awesome. 3 minutes well spent.
That was terrific. Still hate Nike.
That was awesome. I hate Oregon, but damn that was great.
After about a minute I thought, "I'm not wasting 5 minutes on this" and I shut it off.
Just not for me, I guess.
