Yeah, I didn't even notice it during the conference, but having read the dialogue, I really don't see the big deal. Of course that douche bag Jonathan Blow would say something. He's the biggest joke in the entire industry as far as I'm concerned. Sends me into a fit of rage every time I read something he said.
She probably wanted it anyways.

3rd Party Accessories:

I'll be buying a battery pack for my One controller, but that's about as far as I go when it comes to accessories. I'm sure that phone clip will just be busting with quality.
Hm boring accessories so far meh. Whats up with attachment to the ps4 controller and the phone or touch pad?
Sure they make money but the money making power of movies has been in decline for some time (See the link).
JB's point was that decline is due (at least in part) to higher ticket prices so consumers stay home. I agree it definitely has had an affect on both the # of people going to the movies and the amount of profit they make off of them.
Some have argued that video games need to go up in price to make up for the increased costs. Its really a supply demand thing. If you raise the price you by default will lower demand. The key is to find the "perfect" price where demand stays high maximizing profit. It's ok to lose "some" people for a price being too high IF the price to get those consumers to come would be so low that there wouldn't be any additional profit made.
Exactly. I'm pretty sure XB1 and PS4 on the same of this. You download the app (either PS4 or XB1) for Android or IOS. You fire that up and register your account and then I guess it knows the games in your library or when your playing a game and so it would potentially give you the ability to play on the tablet instead of the console or view a map for instance instead of it being on the screen etc....
Yeah, I haven't heard any production companies complaining about "only" $400 million. I've heard plenty of game companies crying about sellling "only" a couple million units. Of course for me, it's not just the prices of tickets and concessions (which are just fucking ridiculous these days), but also that most movies look like shit and I personally find stupid as fuck. There have only been a handful of movies in recent years that tempted me with willingly getting bent over by the local movie theater to see them. The rest, hell, I probably still wouldn't even watch them after they come out on Netflix or Redbox.
