And a perfect weekend for me.
Florida International beats North Texas 41-16 on Thursday night.
Navy beats Delaware 40-17 this afternoon.
Notre Dame loses to USF 23-20 a little bit ago.
A perfect 3 for 3 to start the season. :)
42-31 South Carolina now. Damn.
You left off the mighty Longhorns on the beloved Longhorn network, beating Rice 13-6 in the 3rd qtr.
Somehow completely overlooked that game. :D
Now 13-9 Texas over Rice in the late 3rd.
OU starts Dominique Whaley at RB. He was a backup RB at Langston, an NAIA school. A walk-on that does not have a scholarship. Playing great so far with 3 TD's and we are stacked at RB.
Texas scores, apparently John Harris, a WR, is Texas best QB right now. ;)
That a way Spiders!!
Sadly, Eastern Washington wasn't able to pull it off against Washington. The Huskies held on to win 30-27.
Iowa State sadly edged out Northern Iowa 20-19. :(
Ball State was able to hold on and beat Indiana 27-20.
Eastern Kentucky blew it, letting Kansas State score 10 fourth quarter points and win 10-7.
Of the games still in action,
East Carolina has faceplanted since the early 3rd quarter. Same with Elon against Vanderbilt.
Almost halftime, Wyoming is having some trouble with Weber State, only winning 21-19 right now.
At halftime, Stony Brook is leading UTEP 10-3.
Rice is still hanging in there, as Texas is only winning 20-9 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
eastern washington vs washington, smooth......not eastern kentucky
So Boston College lost 24-17 to northwestern. No National Championship this season.:bang:
:fp: I'm getting my Easterns mixed up. :D My bad, it was Eastern Washington and Washington, Eastern Kentucky and Kansas State. A slight oversight while typing all of that up. I meant to type Eastern Washington, but typed Kentucky for some reason. My brain was getting ahead of my fingers it appears.
Watching Colorado@Hawaii right now. Moniz is a beast. I think Hawaii might get the WAC title this year not that anybody cares since boise state left.
Pretty much. :D The winner of the WAC this year is going to be like the winner of the special olympics. http://i766.photobucket.com/albums/x.../e133156-1.png http://i766.photobucket.com/albums/x...es/e133283.gif
How the fuck did Auburn's TD at the end of the game count? He was CLEARLY down before the endzone. Such bullshit.
In other news, FUCK Georgia.

this hawaii/colorado game is pissing me off. our passing game is sucking balls right now
his ability to scramble like that is a tremendous boost to the offense.....but he just hasnt had any connnection at all with 3 new receivers. the 5 new starters on the o-line havent been a strong point so far, and i'm not sure about iosefa, our rb. we dont need the power rb back there (mostly for pass protection), but he doesnt bring any kind of threat besides a power running game. losing alex green, was just as big of a blow as what losing greg salas and kaloha pilares were.
I gotta think, another shitty year for them (and, it will be another shitty year for them) and he's fired. There's no way Georgia fans put up with another shitty year (even though, I don't get where they have this sense of entitlement for them to be good or somethin'. It's not like they've won a title in the past 31 years or anything.
Finally getting a chance to sit down and watch the Delaware-Navy game right now. I will say this much, Delaware is in trouble if they don't get a center who can actually snap the damn ball in shotgun. I've lost count of the number of times the snap was low and on the ground and the QB had to drop to the ground and jump on it for a loss of 5 or more yards. Or it was high and the QB had to jump to grab it. Or way off the left or right of the QB, making him have to reach for the ball to keep it from flying past him. If they don't get that fundamental shit down between the center and QB, they are going to have a long season.
ESPN already with post season projections and doesnt even have Miami going to a bowl game. Are we gonna lose to Duke as well?
(sigh)
I hate watching WVU be useless on the field...
It can be tough at times but I know your pain
Another game delay because of weather. Hmm
do i like rooting against Notre dame ? Yes......but I dont want them to suck and go the way of Navy, Army, and Wyoming.... i want them to do well...its a Great part of college football. but they are losing their reputation with history and young recruits. no one cares about ND anymore. everything from not being part of the cheaters culture to kids being taught atheist ideas have hurt Notre Dame over time. Along with raising academic standards LOL and kids realizing the school is just in another hick town J/k, although that is partially true LOL
the fact is, college football is too big now and ND isnt the icon it use to be. How long will it be before NBC just drops notr Dame ? 4 or 8 years, maybe ?
I hate the hell out of Notre Dame because of my two bosses. They are massive Notre Dame fans, and ever since I started working at the radio station back in 2007, I have heard all sorts of shit about Notre Dame and crap talked about Navy over the years. So those two have made me hate Notre Dame and nothing would make me happier to see them go 0-12 every, single, season.
Half and half. :D Would I shed a tear if Notre Dame went 0-12? Absolutely not. :D Basically, it comes down to who gets to talk shit each week. Navy won, Notre Dame lost, so I'll get to talk shit this week. If Notre Dame beats Michigan next week and Navy loses, I'll be hearing about ND winning and Navy losing all week.
But, all the years of hearing about Notre Dame, not just shit talked from my bosses, but also just Notre Dame in general from ESPN's raging 24/7 boner of them in the past, I've grown to become annoyed by Notre Dame. Just like ESPN's boners about New England Patriots (hate them), USC (hate them), Dallas Cowboys (hate them), Yankees (hate them), etc. So the douchebags at ESPN and elsewhere, who fight over themselves trying to get on their knees first when talking about some of the "top" teams, makes me end up hating those teams.
Boy, this weather delay is horribly annoying to sit through.
