EMU new helmets and unis
I like matte colors, but the matte gray is getting old quickly. That E is pretty sweet though.
I saw on uni-watch that UAB is rumored to be getting new uniforms in 2012 as well:
“I was talking to a new UAB football recruit, and he mentioned that they’re getting new uniforms next year,” says Jordan Ney. “It will supposedly include a green and white helmet and white pants."

Now that's a uniform and helmet that actually look pretty good. The uniform (I have never really paid attention to SJSU's unis, so regardless of how new or old they are, I'll give my thoughts), it's not too flashy, fairly simple but yet well done. Not too sure about that Spartans going up the left leg, but not a big deal. The helmet looks good, with the logo on both sides and the spear going up the middle of the helmet pointing towards the facemask/opponent. A nice clean uniform that doesn't look like a uniform abortion like so many we've seen lately (cough Oregon, Maryland).
Helmet: awesome. Everything else: A little over the top. I'm not a fan of side panels, and the Spartans up the leg just makes no sense.

I'm just hoping they get our uniforms correct this year. For 2 years in a row our pants & white helmets have been incorrect. There's no 'A' logo on the pants (although I wouldn't be mad if they kept it because I think it looks better that way), & our white helmets have white facemasks and chinstraps, not navy blue like in the game.
