I don’t know who we pissed off but this season is the exact opposite of what I was expecting. Defense is trash. 107 points in 2 games. We’re getting lit up by any QB who can throw a forward pass. O moves the ball but can’t finish. Either dumb turnovers, terrible passes, or bad sacks kill drive after drive after drive. It’s sickening and maddening to watch to total lack of execution.

Gibbons lost his starting job to Sampson in game 3 or 4 last season. I just couldn’t take the constant scrambling. He hurt the offense more than he helped. He had bigger play potential but the risk/reward was to great. I thought last years backup HB was a senior but fortunately, he was a junior last year. He’s by no means great but he’s the best I’ve had so far. None of the receivers do much so I don’t even know their names outside of one guy named Something Blake. The offense will be productive. It has the be to take pressure off the defense. Losing 3 skill points because of coaching is going to hurt their play.
