Americans are impulse buyers, most won't wait for anything. I don't believe there would be a massive backlash - maybe short term, but people would move on. Besides, if you're confident publishers would "hang themselves", why waste energy arguing on it? Just let it happen, let them hang themselves, and let them come begging you to buy their product used again.

If you're not so confident, start a petition. ;)

No. Though at some point, older games may be playable via a streaming service.

Yea seriously JB . What is Nintendo gonna wow any one with ? I dunno but damn I would be sleeping if I was the rest of the conference . Damn Xbox and Sony killed it yesterday. Why even try Nintendo.

I'm interested. I don't need to be "WOW'd." I just need a solid fun game. Nintendo makes those.

I'm still trying to decide if I had more fun in this thread yesterday or the 3 ring circus smooth, bdoughty and I created in the announcement thread :D.....BTW the bears are still dancing in there this morning :nod:

Far as drm I see both sides to the issue, however the developers will have a much harder time without a hardware system in place to back it up :nod:

Yeah that VGChartz article I posted stated there was no system support for such a deal. I think Online passes could still exist, because those use PSN codes. But as for used DRM, I'm not seeing how.

Because Microsoft decided that's what you had to do as a form of DRM to prevent piracy.

Or to prevent you from buying a used game (at least easily) or prevent you from renting a game or prevent you from bringing your game over to a friend's house and letting him borrow it. You know stuff that has been going on since video games were invented. :nod:
