I don't know if I will get anything this summer sale. There aren't a ton of games that I want right now. Plus I have a bunch of games that I never play and have been trying to get around to playing again.

It is really early, but honestly it makes sense.
Early in the summer before every other major website has there sale ( usually they are the last and some websites host multiple ones during the summer)
Gives the young kids time to actually play the games ( or the false hope that they have time)
I will probably buy more than I should, considering I have a shit ton of games I still haven't finished or even started/installed. There are a few games I want that Ill probably buy, and alot more I will get only because they are cheap and my 100.00 in my steam account waits just for this time of year.

So the rumour is that on June 19th (no time specified) the steam sale will start. I am still skeptical on June but I guess we will see.

Anybody play DEMOCRACY 3? It's 66% off on steam so it's only $8.49. It's all about politics and government, topics which I love. It's low tech and indie but I might give it a try. It's only on sale for another 12 hours.
I have tinkered with it, but haven't gotten to much in depth with it, it was okay when I played it.

There are some good bundle deals in Canada on PS4. EB offering free Watch Dogs and PS+ membership while BB throwing in FIFA 14. Maybe sales are slowing down.
Edit: most likely due to XBox 1 being $50 cheaper than PS4 over here now.
