I know. I'm just so tired of this generation and can't wait for the next one to start. Since PS4 is launching first, looks like I'll be getting games like Battlefield, Watch Dogs, and the other launch multiplatform games on PS4.

Wow surprised MS allowed Sony to announce 1st and then release 1st. "Interesting" strategy indeed.
Eh, works for me. It gives me that many weeks long to devote to GTA V, and I'll end up now with my November 15th paycheck ahead of the release, so I'll be good on both purchasing the Xbox One and getting at least one or two games at the immediate start of release.
The date is 8 years to the day that the 360 came out. Kind of a cool sentimental reasoning behind it.
That is actually kind of cool, going with the same, specific date 8 years later. Definitely an actual reasoning behind choosing that date rather than just throwing a dart at the calendar. I'm cool with waiting an extra week or two for something like that. It has more importance in the Xbox family than just some random date or trying to beat PS4 to the punch.
Plus, who knows, maybe releasing a week before Black Friday could help. The PS4 will be a big name that week that it's out ahead, but then the Xbox One will dominate just as many headlines that weekend before and week of Thanksgiving around the time of its release, leading right into Black Friday. So it may help with those who don't necessarily have kids or are looking for a console for the first time for their kids, the Xbox One will be a common name those immediate days leading into Thanksgiving and Black Friday, with all the ongoing hoopla of its release. While the PS4 will still be right there next to it on the shelves, the fanfare of its release will have waned a little bit between the 15th release date and then Xbox One's fanfare firing up that following week.

Well MS doubles down on its Football Box for its first U.S. commercial.
Too bad the NFL package won't be free or under 200 bucks lol. I'd buy it.
MS still has spec evny:

The world has just ended for CLW, despite his heavy handed Sony whoring, bomb number three has just been set off in Japan.

Sony is merely a bottom 15 wannabe. PS4 owners in turn will be wannabe's.
Spoiler: show
Microsoft must have spent a shit load of money to keep Sony off that list.
Exactly what is a "Toys r Us"?? I thought they were known for tricycles, plastic figures and diapers? Grab an electronic or computer or home entertainment system retailer......someone that is a serious player in the market you claim to be in:D.........toys:fp:......probably will be exclusive at bed bath beyond next:D
Unless Toys R Us is selling it for $350, that really means nothing :D

I'm actually trying to think of: (1) the last time I purchased ANYTHING from Toys R Us; and/or (2) The last time I even saw one of their stores. Generally they are TINY little stores inside of malls. I mean it's not like there won't be PS4 ads from the Gamestop 10 feet down the hall at the mall or at the Best Buy anchor store or at Wal-Mart; Target; etc....
Toys R Us is INDEED the death nail to Sony. Kudos to MS they just really outmaneuvered Sony by paying a has been toy store to be an "exclusive" in their paper add that NOONE (figuratively speaking) is going to even see. I'm cancelling my pre-order now and signing up for more Gov't surveillance before its too late.
...and if Sony would have done it instead of Microsoft, your post would look an awful lot like Bdoughty's original post, only completely serious. :D
Jesus man, seek professional help. It was sarcasm for one and now you are trying to attack poor Toys R US just because they dare put the Xbox One on the Top 15. You are also mistaken, as KB Toys were the ones you saw in malls and now defunct thanks in part to Mitt Romney. Toys R us are a large chain of Best Buy sized stores that you find near malls, with some mall stores that are quite large.
