I had Barry Sanders injured for a quarter. Thats about it.
My Bilal Powell (70) is injured for 3 games. Didn't even know he was injured until after the game though...
Alright, I need to start playing this, sooner or later. So how does one play Ultimate Team? I opened some packs, but what next? What is the Reserves? If there's a link or video that explains the basics, go for it. A quick Google didn't really help.
Reserves are players that are not on your active roster but you still retain them should you need them (like if a player gets injured or you runs out of games you can play with a particular player). The basic goal of Ultimate Team is to collect cards, which you do by buying them with coins, which you earn by playing games against either humans or challenges against the CPU. Basically, play games, get coins, buy packs, make your team bad ass.Quote:

seems like they worked on the over all ratings math the last 2 years. It seems you don't need a really large bunch of high rated players like in Madden in the past to get your team rated higher. Mine is a 91 so far and it didn't seem to take that many games or that much tokens to get there.
last year it seemed like you needed a lot player rated 90 to get your team to be rated 90 :dunno:
I don't know if its the over all game or this mode but games get laggy just playing AI . Things slow down and get choppy on ps3
Has anyone gotten Woodson or Wheatly in packs yet?
I would pay top coin for either :nod:

Tore open a bunch of packs. Didn't get any new cards, but I did pick up 2 HH Vicks, a HH Ware, a HH Tim Brown, a HH Walker, an Elite Carimi, a gold Champ Bailey, a couple gold Randy Moss's, and lots of other solid cards. Now I have a tough decision to make.

it will probably be a month before I get to touch a Heisman or high rated bunch of players. I fear this mode not being to active by October.
people will find they cant sell as much as quickly for a lot like in madden and being the selfish kids they are will turn them off from playing it.
I like it though...considering All that I hate about this years game compared to the last 2 years.

I STILL haven't opened my original pack of cards.
I don't know if I've played someone that hasn't used exploits or some form of cheese... super frustrating. :fp:
