GhostBusters is just $15 on Amazon today - PS3, 360, Wii.
If you haven't pre-ordered Madden '11, at Best Buy if you're a reward zone member you get $10 certificate. Also pre-ordering Madden '11 from Best Buy gets you a code to download Madden Arcade. I assume most of you have either already played that, or don't like it enough, but I thought it was a pretty decent deal. I had some RZ certificates I used to drive the price down, got another $10 one, and got Madden Arcade. Also the website has the option for store pickup on a pre-order.. never noticed that before.
Buy Madden NFL 11 at best Buy and get half off of select PS3/360 game (pretty solid selection)
Steam is having a QuakeCon sale this week. Yesterday I picked up Oblivion GOTY for $9, today is the Doom series... individually most of them are $3.40 but combined they are $13.60. My wallet hates Steam sales.
Definitely a lot of nostalgia in these games... so long as you don't count Doom 3.
Prototype (PS3 & 360) is $20 today on Amazon.
Amazon has dropped Madden 11 to $49.99
I hated it. I thought it was a poor man's version if inFAMOUS, but it really wasn't very well done. I thought the story sucked, I wasn't a fan of the art style, and the game was highly repetitive. Still, for $20, if you like 3rd person action games, it might be worth a look. I played it right after inFAMOUS which is probably why I hated it.
Hmmmm the $49.99 Madden 11 intrigues me especially since I have a $10 coupon from buying NCAA 11 from there.
From 360 Junkies.....Dell has 12-month XBOX Gold Subscriptions for only $30!
DEAL Xbox Live 12-month Gold Subscription $30 at Dell.com http://bit.ly/8ZrVrg
Cheapest shipping is $6 .... $36 is still a pretty good deal that puts it at $3/month.
I played it and thought it was a lot of fun. Get's a bit difficult toward the end, but man, flying around the city has NEVER been more fun than in Prototype. It's like a mixture of Infamous (with a cooler enemy base I think and really isn't much like Infamous at all from what I've seen of the game), Devil May Cry (in the combat system and somewhat in the difficulty of the game), and Crackdown (in the wall climbing stuff).
I actually thought the story wasn't too terrible, of course, I'm always one to hate most stories that games have because, well, it's all been done before. The combat in the game is VERY enjoyable. Some of the moves that you can do are just awesome.
Overall, I'd say it's DEFINITELY worth $20. I got a used one cheap for like $30 and I was happy with the price and amount of time I played it.
