So here's the pisser on this one ... none of the seating charts I can find seem to match the pictures (and the NCAA model) of the stadium. For example, none of the seating charts have a section that begins in the 50. Yet every picture I find shows a section there, and it's clear that there's a separation between the section that's centered on the 50 and the sections on either side, so it's not a crossover issue. Unless I'm just off my rocker.
Based on the above picture, the band is quite clearly centered in the section under "New Georgia" / "Bougainville". I couldn't find any pictures of the Blue Side stands, so I hopped into NCAA to look. It looks like that's Section 7 in the stadium seating chart, but hard to say.
Just to make this more frustrating, there's no sight of the Band in this picture: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...al_Stadium.jpg, yet they should clear be in the lower left of the picture.
FYI Chris, I put a feeler out to a friend of mine that was part of TBDBITL ... he might be able to tell us some band locations for bowl games.

I dunno but to me this just strikes me wrong. This is something that CLEARLY the EA staff is capable of doing themselves. I presume they have computers and have access to Google.

Based on the above images, you can see that H-M are clearly divided sections, and that Section I starts where what appears to be a press box(?) starts. The Facebook photo above shows that the band is to the left of Section I, but there are also fans on their left. They're also below Section 2, which puts them on the right-side of Section H.
As JeffHCross has said, anything that the developers can get help from us on frees them up to actually work on developing the game itself. Sure, they could have put somebody on the task and had them figure it out. But all of those hours would've taken away from that person's contribution to the game itself. Since cdj and myself (amongst others posting here) are part of the EA SPORTS Game Changers program anyway, I'm more than happy to give some of my time so that the team can concentrate on programming the actual game instead of doing this research.Quote:

So I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe from looking at a few images that I have the band section here. I'll start with the seating chart; I believe the band sits between Sections 106 and 107 in the pink student section:

I must say that I'm very impressed about how many band sections we've locked down in such a short amount of time; good work to everyone for joining in the search! I fear, at this point, that some of the schools we're working with have smaller fanbases and probably won't be providing a lot of the detailed images that we need to figure things out. It's pretty difficult to know if an empty section is the band section when half the stadium doesn't have anybody sitting in it either haha. Nevertheless, I will not quit!

This one took a good bit of detective work as well, but I believe that the band section is Section 122 and the band sits on the left side of that section when you look at it from the field. Here's the seating chart:
