It's really slow paced for some, but I enjoyed doing the detective work. The driving and shooting is VERY GTA like. I have a feeling you'll dig L.A. Noire.

Heavy Rain wasn't slow. It was engaging, unlike LA Noire. LA Noire was boring as hell. There was nothing all that interesting from what I played of it whereas I played through Heavy Rain twice and was intently engaged in my brother's playthrough as well. Heavy Rain was interesting because of the mystery behind it all whereas LA Noire is just a series of boring hide and seek games where it's completely impossible to ever get the "interview" mini-games correct, no matter how intently you pay attention to these people.
I so have to agree LA nore got boring super fast.Only had it a for a month .It also got very repetitive for me. The only thing I enjoy where the story some and graphics were par
LA Noire did get very repetitve after awhile. I do wish I could've beat the game, but everytime I tried to interview someone in the interview room, I was unable to start the interrogation. The only option I had was to restart the entire case and I was pretty far along.

The buy 2 get 1 deal is such a sham because they raise their prices to where you're not really saving anything.
Amazon has been sued before for things like this. If I am not mistaken, Amazon used to have new items priced differently based on where the IP address and your internet history. I.e. Person X and Person Y would go to their site and look at an item at the exact same time and the prices could very well be completely different.
Case in point. I just took these two screen shots:
In the 2 for 1 section:

I used the buy 2 get one yesterday and for new release games it actually saved me quite a bit. I realize they screw you on certain titles but with new release games you will be saving some serious money.
