Guess I am the old fart stuck in the 80s? One "modern" band I like.

Karma is a great thing....
You know that junkie slut won't be able to pay that loan back :DQuote:
Courtney Love, widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, has reportedly lost control of the rights to her husband's name, likeness and image to the couple's only daughter, 19-year-old Frances Bean Cobain. The report from The Fix indicates that Love relinquished control over her husband's appearance in 2010, in exchange for a $2.75 million loan from Frances' trust fund in 2010.
Until Courtney pays it back, she won't receive any income from the use of Kurt's name, likeness or appearance as a result of deals formed by Frances and her advisers since December 2010.
Pfft. She's already raped his dead corpse of everything that it's worth.
Reminds me of this GREAT Primus song (which, btw, is ABSOLUTELY about Courtney Love):

Some numbers off of this week's Billboard 200 Charts:
Notable Debuts:
Marilyn Manson, Born Villain (Cooking Vinyl/ Downtown/Hell, Etc.) #10, 38,140 sold
Performing and recording with Johnny Depp might not equal album sales, but maybe touring with Rob Zombie will at least give sales a boost.
HURT, The Crux (Carved) #66, 6,110 sold
Congrats to the modern rock group on scoring their first top 100 debut.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm amazed that Manson only sold 38k on his first album away from the corporation. Granted 38k is still good for 10th, and I don't think this counts digital album buys. I'm very stoked for the guys in HURT who have put together many great albums, but this is the first one they have ever debuted within the top 100 on Billboard.
If the album is purchased whole, rather than individual songs, it's included in the Billboard 200.
Album sales just suck that much.
Licensed to Ill re-entered the Billboard 200 chart at #18 this week.
Here ya go :sf:. I think I found a new death metal band for ya:

Just know, the lead singer is the chick in the middle:

Lol. I've seen a few of these bands in my time (with female singers). Not familiar with Tard though.

Pretty ridiculous stuff considering it comes from a hot little Japanese girl:
