Rumors that Batman v. Superman will be split into two movies with Part I coming out this year. (!)
Rumor: #BatmanVSuperman Split Into Two Movies?http://t.co/1bikccoZMr pic.twitter.com/qVsiymJSDt

Batman V Superman is a dumb title. Why are they fighting each other?
I've read some light speculation/rumors, but I won't post them here. Basically I think it is similar to the Avengers fighting each other at the start of that movie. Don't get along at first, end up working together to eliminate common foe/enemy.
I'm assuming that they have fought in the comics, but I don't read them so I don't know that for sure. There has always been that discussion by fans of who would win in a battle, so maybe they are playing on that as well.
I believe they've had a few minor scuffles in the comics. Batman doesn't really like Superman, not sure if that's the angle they are going to take in the movie or not.
Batman must have trust issues. Superman is the most goody-goody hero of all. There doesn't seem to be a reason to dislike him other than you're scared that he's too powerful and will kill us all.
I think that's part of it. Batman is afraid he'll go bad. I think that actually happens in one of their fights, Superman is under some mind control. Plus I think it's jealousy, Batman has to work at being a Superhero and it's a lot of talent. Superman's ability is nothing he had to achieve.
Batman is just some guy running around in pajamas with gadgets. He has no powers. Without kryptonite it's not even a discussion of Batman vs Superman as Superman would kill him with a flick of his little finger. I have always found Superman to be boring because he's too powerful and too goody-goody. But Batman has never impressed me.
You guys are speaking fighting words
I just think DC > Marvel across the board
