Yeah, I don't know why people get so worked up over a video game and can't wait. Do they seriously not have any self control? Hell, right now, at this moment, I don't know if I'm going to bother getting the game on Tuesday when it releases, or I may end up waiting and not getting it until Friday the 15th. There has never, in my entire history of playing video games, been a game where I sat there going "OMG, OMG I can't wait! OMG, I gotta have it right fucking now!" I just don't understand people like that.

Most games now a days, I am totally that way. Especially an action/adventure type game. I'll just wait for the price to drop.

I can really only think of three games off the top of my head that I will pay $60 for the rest of the year:

• NHL 12
• Gears 3
• Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
• (maybe) Resistance 3

I'm by no means sitting here going OMG, OMG but having said that I really enjoy the "hunt" in trying to find it early. Just something about doing it and looking and enteracting with sellers that makes it enjoyable for me. I don't do this for any other game and for that matter I have never bought a game on release day either. I know speaking for myself only, that NCAA has and will always be the #1 reason why I play video games and is something that enjoy so if I can get my hands on the new one a couple of days early that is a big bonus for me personally. I'll never wet my pants if I get it early, and I'll never put a hole in the wall if I don't either.

Oh no, I wasn't saying that about you personally. I was just saying that in general, with some of the comments, especially by newer members in the past week, as well as over on OS and stuff like that, people practically curled up in the fetal position in tears over having to wait another week or something. For me personally, I just don't understand those kind of people. Seems to me, people like those kids, they might have something called an addiction. :D

Oh I'm with ya there, I have been following that thread on OS about getting it early and it is funny as hell at times.

spreading mulch sucks, been at it for about 3 days now.

my mom needs a hearing aid. i supposedly got a call from capital one's fraud department regarding fraudulant charges from my xbox account getting hacked. she writes down the number and i call it as soon as i get home from work.

when i called that number though, there's some short little voice message thats played, telling me to call a different number instead. so i call that new number that voice message said, and it turns out to be a phone sex hotline.

i get on capital one's website and find out the fraud department's number was different than the one she wrote down in the first place. :fp:
