Yes but WHY all the part-timers? All this does is stunt (and potentially prohibit) the growth of the younger full-time talent.

WWE stock tanking, here's how the wrestling giant can right the ship

Takes away air time. There are only so.... many hours of t.v./shows for the new/young talent to develop. Unless you think the young talent is not up to snuff and never will be its hard to argue that bringing in all the part-time "help" is going to be good for the long term health of the WWE.
And if you do believe that is the case then they better start developing young talent FAST b/c these part-timers are old and I imagine they won't hold the attention of fans for very long.
Not like I used to but I have watched a few Raws in full recently and I wasn't impressed with the story lines/match quality and the shows just felt completely disjointed with little to no real flow to them.
I didn't see anyone young that looked to have "it" (i.e. someone that could be the next big face/heel for the company).
There are at least nine hours a week of programming plus NXT. The signing of Sting wouldn't "hold someone down". It'll be like Lesnar if not less. 20 Raw appearances and less than three PPV matches. Or just one final one against Undertaker at WM XXXI.
Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx since I'm too lazy to get to the CPU.
Yeah except here is the deal most wrestlers big moments happen during a PPV. If WWE continues to work stories and bigger PPV matches out of all these part-timers the audience will likely care less about a younger superstar at the bottom of the card. Moreover, its X number less spots for your full-time talent to have a PPV match.
Simply put. Sting's signing means nothing towards the growth of other wrestlers. He'll probably be on TV less than Lesnar has been, and Lesnar won't be back until the summer most likely.
From what I'm reading, it'll be likely that Sting only has one, maybe only a couple matches. Might be used in a GM type of role.
In case you're wondering what the scripts look like for Raw:

You want a major surprise? @Sting has descended upon #SDCC! #WWE pic.twitter.com/9Tm6Wa84iy

The 4 majors of the WWE are still Summer Slam, King of the Ring, Royal Rumble, and Wrestlemania, right? I'm asking out of general curiosity.
Survivor Series. Haven't had King of the Ring as a PPV in a while.
I don't understand how this isn't somebody's theme in the WWE yet. When I hear it all I can picture is a heel RKO.

WWE is cutting costs, so licensing new music isn't something they're doing right now. That's why you see generic in-house music for new themes of Dean Ambrose, Cesaro, Seth Rollins, Rusev, etc.
Definitely. I'm thinking more CM Punk if he came back as a heel again. But then again, CM Punk took This Fire Burns by Killswitch Engage. Orton wanted it, actually came out to it once or twice, but the WWE thought it suited Punk better and Orton wasn't pleased.
Yeah, I agree. When I actually listened closer to the words, it seemed more like heel Punk. But I will always identify Punk with This Fire Burns.
Which is weird, because I would have told you to the end of time that he used This Fire Burns in ROH. I would have sworn to it. But when I went back and watched the very matches I knew him from, he certainly did not. I don't know how he got so inherently connected to This Fire Burns in my head, but he sure as hell did.
Yeah he used Cult Of Personality then I think.
This week's Talk Is Jericho is a good one. Part one with Triple H. Part two will be Friday.

I've got a new article series in addition to my power rankings called Armchair Booking, where I put my take on where creative should go or should have gone. This week's is in regards to giving the Intercontinental Championship picture an instant boost.
