Excellent start by the USA but gotta hope they don't blow their load early and then run out of gas. What's the temp/humidity like tonight?
I'm certainly impressed by that start. Now just gotta hold onto that lead for 85 more minutes. If USA can get a second goal, I'd definitely feel good about their odds of victory.Quote:

Just looked up the weather. Temperature isn't bad, sitting at 80 degrees. Humidity is a bitch though with 73% humidity right now.

I'd be stunned of Altidore is able to return for the rest of the tourny - that just looked to me like something tore b/c he just immediately pulled up and it was without contact.
Hate to see Altidore go down.

Well, I bet the USA fans there in the stadium now feel like dumbasses sitting there chanting "I believe we will win" when it was 1-0 and only 10-15 minutes into the match. That'd be like Oklahoma students chanting that after returning the opening kickoff against Texas and leading 7-0 midway through the first quarter. :fp:
