So I guess it really should matter if we set it now as there appears to be a penalty that could happen from doing so?

So I guess it really should matter if we set it now as there appears to be a penalty that could happen from doing so?
It is 100% a glitch and he was most likely telling the truth.
I was able to get the team i was playing to get 20 encroachments in a row on CONSERVATIVE.(two controllers playing myself)
People are not cheesing you everybody by having the D Line on aggressive the whole game, the patch added this glitch.
The only cheese is to continually fake hike after you opp gets a penalty. Even if he changes it back to conservative it does nothing and the game glitches out.
So STOP FAKING HIKE UNTIL EA FIXES THIS! It is now as big of a glitch as the QB walk and the disconnect glitches. If you do this INTENTIONALLY you are glitcher, please people put an end to this until EA patches the game(again lol), it is, and will ruin online play.
got this from utopia on new patch after i ran into a problem last night, others may need to test but we might need to ban DL aggressive and Fake Snap for a while until its fixed
I played someone online last night, who had their settings on Aggressive. The only time I got them to jump offsides is on 3rd down and short or on 4th down. When teams would try and get someone to jump offsides. The rest of the game fake hiking only made his people jump a little bit, and you had to time the snap to get an offsides penalty. When I did time it right, it was because he tried to jump the snap himself with his DE not the computer. So it's not guaranteed that they will jump.
i had a big problem in g's scbol od last night against another user, i only pressed it 3 times and got 3 offsides calls, he claims he was on DL normal or DL conservative for the last 2.
Doesn't it also depend on the quality of the player's rankings? Not sure what teams were used in the above examples but isn't the other OD with very bad teams.
yea i have temple, im not sure but its being reported by many people from play now online games who use good teams.
By all means i dont mind people using DL aggressive now that there is a counter, i just hope ppl are prepared for lots of offsides calls if they choose so and we dont ban em :)
Yeah I didn't know how much ratings were taken into account. I know with the patch they made it is good DBs won't fall for as many pump fakes so it would make sense that good DLs won't go for a fake snap but you never know.
well pump fakes are broken to, (i never saw them work before the patch) and now they work every time lol, apparently its a huge issue for 'play now' games.
If the undefeateds hold....it's gonna be some conTROversy!
LOL, Papa you have to be smiling a little bit inside being where you right now. Though with no conference championship game.
VERY happy....lol....I got scared after Kingpin drove down the field without a 2nd down and scored easily on the first drive of the game....palms started to sweat....lol....knowing that the game could very well decide where I would play my last game. I'm still nervous and I'm hoping that Ohio State beats Michigan and Michigan beats Wisconsin....I'm already down to #2 in the AP poll and I have a feeling if the ACC title game is played with 2 undefeated teams....the champion will be fresh in the mind of the voters....my quality win will be USC if they finish strong....but if there's 2 other undefeated teams at the end....they'll be fresh off a likely top 5 victory.
Yea i think i have to root for va tech to beat miami to give the ACC champ a chance at the title (either va tech or fsu)
If i do win the acc title and dont go to the nat'l title game ill still be happy, my goal at the beginning of the year was to get back to 6* prestige.
After the last couple of years Michigan has had and how young their team is I was just hoping to have a winning record. Starting ranked 51st and climbing all the way up to #3 was never in the cards, but now that we are here we are gunning for the MNC...there are two big tests in the next two weeks that loom however.
A 10-2 season and most likely a Cotton Bowl appearance for Tech. I see this as a success with a fairly young defense and an outgoing senior at QB. If only I could have beat USC, and we could possibly be in the top 10 or at least top 15.
haha just having a winning season oneback, i dont think u have lost to the cpu in any of our ODs ;) maybe in the minors one we did 2 years back.
I should be headed for the Sun Bowl at this point since I've lost all three of my user games. Which we'll get the #4 team in the ACC.
I always forget that we're in the Pac-10, so I don't know what bowl game we'll be going to. If Papa goes to the NC, then USC should get the Rose Bowl, and I think we'll end up at #3 in the Pac-10.
Doesn't the Pac 10 #3 go to the Emerald Bowl or something like that
That may be true, however I knew Penn State, Wisconsin and Ohio State would/will be tough as they are all rated better than I am. I figured Iowa would have been tougher as they are also rated better than I am, then there was Notre Dame and Michigan State...both equally rated and rivarly games. Both games were close as I won by a combined seven points.
The game I was not counting on being close was Illinois. The Purdue game was 28-21 UM going into the 4th where I scored 14 unanswered to pull away.
It hasn't exactly been a dominating year, but we have come up big in big games thus far (Penn State and Iowa).
Way Too Early 2011 Preview - Offense
Starters lost: 2 (Broyles, Murray)
Possible entering early: 2 (Jones :D, Miller)
Contributors lost: 4 (Mensik, Caleb, Kenney, Madu)
So I'm bored and here's what we look like for next year since hopefully we can finish out with 9 or 10 wins as we might be CPU the rest of the way.
QB - Landry Jones (he shouldn't go pro unless he wants to be like Snead with a 20 TD, 16 INT season so far, rJR), Drew Allen (JR), Blake Bell (rFR).. I'm interested in Bell because of his 93 ACC, he would probably start next year if something happened to Landry, since he has a duel-threat ability. Allen's a good runner too, but not 93 ACC good.
RB - Calhoun (rJR), Clay (rFR), Finch (rFR), incoming recruit Travis Lawson (redshirt?).. Clay has 96 SPD which could become 97-99 in training, who knows. Finch has 90 SPD, 93 ACC. Calhoun will be more of a powerback next year with Clay and Finch taking it to the outside.
FB - Musil (rSO)/Crow (SR) - We use both of our fullbacks.
WR - Miller* (SR), Reynolds (JR), Stills (rFR), Abrams (FR), McClain (rFR), other freshman .. We lose 3 of our top 4, and if Miller goes pro, we'd lose all of our top 4 WRs. Miller's speed could become 98 or 99 in the offseason, too if he sticks around, if not, we could be a running team next year.
TE - Ratterree (rSR), Millard (rFR), Haywood (rFR) .. Millard at 6'2" 235 intrigues me with his 90 ACC, he could easily be a WR next year, but we'll see.
LT - Jones (rSR), Thompson (rFR) .. We're good here.
LG - Good (SR), Irwin (rFR).. and here.
C - Habern (rJR), Ikard (rSO).. Habern will probably be one of the top C's next year.
RG - Evans (JR), recruit.. A little light here.
RT - Stephenson (rSR), Aladenoye (rSO), Williams (FR).. Stephenson should jump from LT to here and start.
Bold = starter in 2010
