You're 3000 miles away. Don't waste the cash

Yeah, but we're in the same country, so it's almost the same thing as being next door neighbors, if we use your Kansas City-St. Louis example in the Current Events thread during all the Ferguson and World Series events.
Sandals, no socks. I am safe from RAM.
Fascinating. So last October it was only about calming and soothing the masses in Ferguson, because a city that is a suburb and part of St. Louis would obviously give two shits about a team clear on the opposite end of the state hundreds of miles away. Now it's simply about collecting revenue for the state. What will be your next claim when you change the story yet again to try and shoehorn it into your make believe "facts"?
Kim Davis sitting in a jail cell right now.
Agreed she was breaking the law. Hell she has been married 4 times, so not exactly a rousing endorsement for straight marriage. Now if only they could toss all the people involved in sanctuary cites in jail too. Heck, throw every government agent that is not following the laws on the books in regards to deporting illegal immigrants. Of course Biden would be president but if we are going to be sticklers for rules.

So many things wrong with this.Quote:
The boys’ bathrooms and girls’ bathrooms will become just bathrooms at the first San Francisco school to go gender-neutral.
Miraloma Elementary started removing the circles, triangles and stick-figure signs from restrooms at the start of this school year, in part to acknowledge six to eight students who don’t fit traditional gender norms — kids who range from tomboys to transgender, said Principal Sam Bass.
Ugly people get married all the time. This is also Kentucky, so multiply that figure x5.
The best part.

Davis gave birth to twins five months after divorcing her first husband. They were fathered by her third husband, but adopted by her second.
Are you following?
Let’s break that down real quick: Basically, Kim cheated on her first Husband #1 with her Future Husband #3, got pregnant by #3, divorced #1, then married Husband #2, who adopted #3’s twins.
To be fair to Kentucky

Is not her fault. Her religion taught her to hate because they actually read all of the hate in their Bible instead of glossing over it and cherry-picking like most modern churches.
A player here in LA died after a hit in a game.
Franklin Parish football player dies on football field http://www.kplctv.com/story/29964989...football-field
As an athletic trainer, this hurts. Just the thought of going onto the field for an injury and having that kid die. I can't even imagine the grief I'd feel if I were there.
And Ram, I dare you to tell that family it's fake.
I can definitely understand as a trainer running out to check on an injured player and have them die right there in front of you, that's gonna be damn harsh. But also the players, the coaches, the refs, the fans. Damn... How the hell do you react when you just finished a play, assume the guy laying on the field is just injured or maybe cramping, and then find out the kid died right there.
Even worse, the kid who either made hit or contact on the play that caused the kid to get injured. While it was most probably a clean, legitimate hit or contact during the play, knowing that you were responsible for the hit or contact that led to the injury, from which the kid ultimately died, I really hope he either doesn't know he was the one who made the contact or has family staying close. If he feels in any way responsible for the death of the kid, that could be a bad situation, especially if left alone to sit there thinking over all of it.
I've wondered how these were legal, but this ensures they will get mucked up for sure.
Congress to Examine Fantasy Football Pay Sites?
by LUKE RUSSERT
If you watched NFL games over the weekend, you were inundated with commercials from Draft Kings or FanDuel, fantasy football websites that promised payouts with real money.
Well a congressman from New Jersey noticed too and wants to review the legality of the sites because as online poker players know, Internet gambling is illegal in the United States.
Rep. Frank Pallone, D-N.J., sent this letter (.pdf) to the GOP Leaders of the House Energy Commerce Committee, writing that he wanted to "hold a hearing examining the relationship between professional sports and fantasy sports to review the legal status of fantasy sports and sports betting."
Pallone asserts that the leagues operate in murky legal territory and points out the hypocrisy of professional sports leagues like the NFL being opposed to legalized betting but invested in pay-out fantasy sites.
Those commercials are just annoying as hell. Non stop.
Funny this was brought up
Had I not stupidly took Doriel Beckum-Green over Jordan Matthews who i orginally had at first I'd have been in the running for $30 or so from Draft Kings. Instead only won $3.00 lol. I finished with 157. The winner is likely going to win with 204 points....$10,000!!!!
Got in the $100K free play this week.
Actually was going to start doing it every week. Damn shame knew the fun would be ruined because if the Gov't isn't getting it's cut...it's a wrap
You sir are helping to fund those damn commercials. A pox on you.
Haha I'll take my free $3.00.
It is pretty cool though.
Don't knock it until you try it lol
Fantasy Football is popular as all get out in the US with people shelling out money in multiple leagues for an entire season with the same roster.
I should have put my $25 in this instead of my league with bum ass team :D. Damn 14th pick
No shit. Wow. And it's a crap shoot just like any online poker site. I played quite a bit on Fan Duel for MLB doing a great deal of research with no profit.
Signed up for Draft Kings to play in the $1M purse free. Thanks to Carlos Hyde, I got $5.00 :D
But I slowed way down after finding out you don't have to be skilled to win.
Yeah I look at the lineups of guys who won $100k this week and for the most part they made sense to play them, you just had to put the right ones together.
Yep JB. It's all luck anyway just any other Fantasy Football or sports, even with the best roster doesn't mean an automatic win
Wouldn't say the skilled guys don't win

That's a different sort of skill. To me, it's almost like counting cards.
How is that not fishy? It has been said that the government might be taking another look at these sites as well.Quote:
The first step is scraping data from various public resources online and plugging the numbers into his custom-built predictive models, which generate hundreds of lineups based on his forecasts. There are publicly available tools that do some of this work for daily fantasy players, but Sud created bespoke software to make sure no one else can access his data.
As for me, I wasn't even playing much in the big big tourneys, I was playing in 50 and 100 man 50/50 leagues with a lot of research and still not making profits.
Funny story though, I signed up for the Draft Kings $1M event for free because I was new to the site this week, did get $5 off that thanks to Hyde :D
Yeah man I went ahead and took the little $3 I won and put it into this coming week. Team this week looks alot better and hoping they all play like they should lol
Yeah I'd be leery of spending too much $ on these sites - #1 its gambling (the house ALWAYS wins long term) - #2 online gambling sites have a notorious track record for fraud etc... (see e.g., online texas hold em sites)
#1 The house is simply taking a percentage. They don't give a shit who wins, it's nothing like sports books.
#2 Apples and Oranges. Poker sites can fake the hands because they are hidden. They show you the lineup of your opponent when the game starts and it's kind of impossible to fake the results (unless you believe ram).
I would never put any significant money in it unless I had the type of software that the sharks have. Also, I never play in pools. Pools are a sucker game.
I've only made one small deposit ($20, maybe $25 almost 2 years ago but I also don't play often) and I play only $1 head-to-head games and I look strictly for opponents with less than 10 wins. Also, I play mostly Premier League as most Americans don't know much about it and Euros have real gambling sites so they don't need this.
If you do it just for fun, you can play for a long time with a small deposit. If you're looking to make a profit, you won't. It's like FUT or MUT or whatever. Someone with a bot will screw it up for everyone.
That's when you hunt the fucker down, throw him in the trunk, drive him out to the middle of the desert, introduce his kneecaps to a tire iron and leave him as a snack for the buzzards. :)
