Don't bother unless you just really love old-school PC RPGs. I purchased it cheaply awhile back and it's a turn-based click style RPG. I couldn't get past the first cave you start in before dying several times. I don't enjoy that style so I didn't bother trying much more than that. But... free is free.
Duke Nukem Forever Balls of Steel Edition has dropped to $19.99 at GameStop if you can find it. There's 2 stores by me that have it but I can't justify even $20 on it.
Tomorrow (Tues 4/24) is a Gold Box Day on Amazon.
I don't have high hopes for the Gold Box Day given how poor the deals have been on Amazon since Black Friday. They've ended the 'Deal of the Day' and replaced it with 'Today's Deals' which is just games, peripherals, etc. that have been marked down and they seem to change weekly instead of daily.
Yep, another shitty day.
6am PDT - Turtle Beach Ear Force X32
8am PDT - Playstation Eye
9am PDT - Playstation Move
10am PDT - Playstation Move Navigation Controller
11am PDT - Playstation Move Shooting Attachment
12pm PDT - The King of Fighters XIII (PS3)
2pm PDT - Final Fantasy XIII-2
5pm PDT - Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade Fightstick Pro
8pm PDT - LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean (Nintendo DS)
Wow. That's atrocious.
...and to think I actually used to look forward to Amazon's video games gold boxes. :smh:
I remember setting calendar reminders for when the deal would always switch.
Now it's just Amazon getting rid of their peripheral stock :fp:
I'll still get King of Figthers if it is $10 or $15.
I don't believe I've ever seen a PS3 game in new condition for $3... until now
Not even a full year old. Ouch.
It was pure garbage from what I played in the demo. I've heard the game is painstakingly difficult on the higher difficulty levels because of the crap shooting mechanics.
NCAA Football 13 is $44.99 for 360 on Amazon right now. Judging from past experiences, it won't stay that way long. The PS3 version is still listed at $59.
Does Amazon charge you now for it or will it not be until it's ready to be shipped that it will charge you?
Doesn't charge until the Monday before release when it ships. Free release day delivery too.
Tonight's GameFly deals: Dead Island $15, Assassin's Creed Revelation $18, and more.

If you've yet to jump into the Bethesda RPG world, here's a hell of a 2-pack deal.
TES IV: Oblivion & Fallout 3 - $20
Tonight's GameFly Deals: Rayman Origins, LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7, and Need for Speed: The Run - all $12.99

Yeah, I ended up biting on this. I've been considering the Fallout games for a while and had thought about buying Fallout 3 a number of times but never went through with it. So between that, and getting TES IV as well, so I can play the prequel to Skyrim (which I have much enjoyed playing), both for $20, too goo to pass that up.
The Run is good to "run" through the offline story and then selling back. You may still get $20+ back for it on eBay (I got $22).
I'm going to get Rayman Origins (if it isn't sold out). Heard it's an awesome game.
Yep it's not a very direct prequel. I think Oblivion is 200 years before Skyrim. There will be a ton of subtle references to Oblivion and the land of Cyrodiil though.
Yeah, that's what I remember reading, but it will at least give me some additional insight into the Elder Scrolls world and some things I learn/see/come across in Oblivion will maybe make more sense of the things I learn/see/come across in Skyrim. Plus, I've enjoyed Skyrim a ton, so why not go some of other TES games a try and venture through some of the other parts of the series.
yay thanks G. I'll order after work.
Ordered NCAA just now, just can't pass that price up.
