So, apparently this band has a new album coming out tomorrow. Wasn't a fan of some other stuff I heard by them (though I may be mistaking them for someone else), but this isn't bad:

My god, what a beautiful song and equally beautiful music video.

Damn...that is pretty damn awesome. That album will be mine tonight. Headphones will be on and eyes will be closed. ...too bad I'm no longer a stoner. :D
I initially wrote these guys off as just a weird folk version of Soilwork and those ilk, but man, these guys are pretty damn awesome. Listening to their newest album now and it's pretty damn good.
Holy shit Tommy, I somehow totally skipped this when you posted it. That's AMAZING. Gonna check them out as soon as I get a chance now.
Holy shit Deuce. Blut Aus Nord is fuckin' amazing. Thanks for forever ago posting something about them.

On this day in 1980 we lost one of the great frontmen in rock with Bon Scott.

How can you like that JB and not like most of the stuff that I post? ;)
Going to see M.O.D. tonight. I first got into this band in 1988 and I've never seen them live. Pretty pumped.

New Alice in Chains song out today... the sample certainly sounds like the old Alice.
Alice in Chains - Stone

Yep :( was such an uphill road for him to recover. His body just gave out. RIP.
Pretty good stuff. I'm kinda a sucker for the tongue in cheek satan stuff. I love the imagery. It's like listening to 'B' scary movie.
There's a 15 second ad before the video starts.
The band is Ghost BC

One of my favorite Slayer songs.

As a rabid Slayer fan of more than 25 years, this is terrible news.
On the personal side, I met Jeff a couple of times over the years. In 2000 Slayer was part of the Tattoo the Earth tour and Jeff let me (and my ex) stand up on the side of the stage with Slayer's family members and friends during their performance here in Houston. As many bands as I've seen, and as many times as I've seen Slayer, that will always be the coolest experience I've ever had with any of it. Awesome memory.
Rest in Peace, Brother.

Really dig David Draiman's (Disturbed) side project Device. Basically Draiman's voice with a NIN-like backing of electronic and industrial rock. They're coming to Omaha on the 28th, tempted to go.

Holy. Shit. Interesting.
