I would have been more impressed if it had been Shane Falco, of "Johnny Utah" fame. ;)
Spoiler: show
I got busy, but I will van de Velde myself through the next one hopefully.
Ok, finished event 3 at -21. Come get me skip. Forgot how good this game plays. I will sketch out four five event tours each finishing on a major asap. Need to figure points won for each event etc.
Sounds good. Will these be considered in the Tour or Season? Or will when you have them plotted out, will those be the official start of the Tour?
During this time we can make sure CLW can actually join them before they start since he was having an issue with the one currently going.
In regards to the 3rd event, think I shot a -4 in 1st round. Plagued by missed putts galore. Approach shots were fairly good and was able to stick some close but missed the putts. Started the 2nd round late lastnight but stopped and I was getting sleepy. Will pick up and see what I can do but that score won't be reachable I can say that.
Also toyed around with the Hardest Drive difficulty on Augusta National before going to bed. Didn't have all that much trouble with it surprisingly except on an occasional few. May stick with it though.
Going to start event 4 at Pinehurst now.
Looks like I'm going first this time. Bogey on 1
Well event 4 should be wide open. The long par 4s and greens gave me trouble. Still dig the course and Pinehurst 2 should be in our U.S. Open rotation.

A great breakdown of all the courses, fictional, real, etc. Also covers the theme used and you can click on each course for some media.
So I started Pinehurst -2 and thinking man I have a chance here. Triple bogey and it went straight downhill from there. :fp:
The leader boards are still buggy. Neither of you show up anymore.
The leaderboards never seem to work well. They are fine once you have a few people complete the whole tour or it expires but it is probably something that would be better if we just kept it manually. Just post your scores and someone can tally everything, which I do not mind doing.
Looks like we all finished round one of the final tour stop. Shot a -1 under to take the lead. One of the best rounds I have played considering hitting most greens was near impossible and I had to sink 5 or so putts from 10ft out just to save par. It was also one of the most stressful rounds of golf I have played and loved every minute of it. I like playing last so I can scoreboard watch. Had to make up for the disaster at Pinehurst. Did complete the final round but will not post the score.
SC, I was kidding when I asked for your wife to break your thumb. ;)
So JB, CDJ or G can we get a sub forum for the TGT TGC Tours? Please and thanks in advance.
