I'm so incredibly happy with these sliders for me personally. It can be tough to beat higher competition, but it is doable.
The CPU running game is deadly as long as they don't run spread (the CPU is still really dumb at running shotgun running plays, but my gap defense is pretty damn good so it's tough for them to do much anyway).
CPU throws the ball very well with good QBs and can throw the ball poorly with bad QBs. Teams with poor defense certainly are challenging to get stops with and team speed is accentuated just that much more.
Been getting GREAT penalty stats with all 100s on everything but Clipping, Holding, and Face Masks which are set to 55 each.
Played my dynasty game SAU vs Oregon and won 23-7 because their QB who isn't Masoli is shit and they didn't give LeMichael James the ball enough (only 8 carries) but the penalties were spectacular. Had 13 penalties between the two teams (CPU had 9 and I had 4). Good mixture of holding, clipping, and face mask penalties (though face mask was definitely the most prevalent). CPU kept going for the strip and getting called for face mask calls. Never multiples in a row or anything. They'd get called for one and then wouldn't get called for another one for most of the drive. Holding and clipping calls happened most often on special teams (makes sense since those teams are the most likely to be out of position) but there were some holding calls that happened at the point of attack on runs/stopped my blitzing defenders long enough for the CPU to make a play and then get the call against them. Had a clipping call on a screen play by the CPU (again, makes sense since that is most often a time when the receiver might get beat to the point of attack and make a mistake on the block).
Oh yeah, and this is 8 minute quarters.
Overall, like I said, I'm extremely happy with these sliders and if I could only do something to help the CPU play calling on spread running, it would be completely golden.

I am very happy with all my slider tweaks even penalties (all at 100 except holding, clipping, and facemask at 60). The only area I am still playing with is the cpu passing game. If I play a zone D I get killed for huge gains so all of my D is man coverage. I still haven't found a way to balance this just yet. I hope by tonight to finalize my sliders though. Even though there are some issues I am loving this series AGAIN.

I'm getting there but I'm starting to get this uneasy feeling that the sliders are too watered down in some areas. I don't think cpu rush defense does a whole lot right now. I usually like to leave the human ones alone if I can but I may have to change this but I am getting very competitive games. At some point you have to accept that things may never be perfect otherwise you would go nuts. Once I get a good set I don't like to change it much. Maybe once or twice a season (none if I can get away with it). I've gone 40-50 baseball games in a row without tweaking so I do know when to say when. Until then, I may play one game on Heisman just for kicks.

After five days of testing I think I have settled on my final tweaks. I could keep going for months but these sliders feel right for me. I agree with Rudy about sliders being very personal and what works well for one may not work for all. Feel free to try these out if you think they may fit your style. Hum and Cpu pass comp are around 55-60% and the cpu rb avgs between 85-120 yards per game. I am averaging about three sacks per game and those are primarily from the Dline. It's really tough to play zone with these sliders as the cpu will eat you up. Also, if you run/pass comit and you are wrong you will pay for it. Playing offense and defense is both fun and a challenge. For those of you still tweaking, best of luck!

I think the cpu drops more passes than the user on AA. I think they need a bit more of a boost than the user imo.
Are you guys finding that you can break long runs but the cpu rarely breaks long TD runs? I think that's one of the only issues left that I'm looking at. I'm pretty happy with things right now but I'm going to boost cpu RBA a little more to see if they can break some longer runs. I think part of the problem is they cover up too much rather than turbo to daylight once they get to the second level. I don't want to turn lousy backs into good ones for the cpu but I do think this may be an issue.
For now I think AA will definitely be the level for me. No need to mess with Heisman.

The tough thing with sliders this year is that games are so random. Stanford QB went 22-26 for 300+ and then Oregon St QB goes 11-29 for 87 yards. Once you are comfortable with your set don't change them. I have thought about making more tweaks but plain and simple, the game is fun with the set I am using and that's all I can ask for.

Yup. You really have to know when to stop tweaking. The key is understanding that you won't be able to get the game to play "perfect". If it's fun and balanced then just accept it and stop tweaking. I'll still tweak maybe halfway through a year or at the end of a season if I think something is wrong but you have to resist that urge to tweak after every one or two games. Random things happen in sports. If a guy rushes for over 200 yards that normally wouldn't - is that an aberation, which happens all the time in sports, or are your sliders goofy? Just accept some random things here and there.
