What I've been told is that BTK is used for
simulations whereas Elusiveness and Trucking are used in
gameplay. As in, one is used primarily during Super Sim and CPU Simulations, whereas the others are factors in determining dice rolls for breaking tackles. This may not be 100% absolute truth under all conditions, that's just what I've been told.

No, see above. But to your point, Awareness isn't a totally NPC attribute either. It can have an effect (though somewhat limited) under user control as well. I've never been clear on what BCV does ... that might be an NPC/simulation rating.
