I actually thought that would be pretty cool until that lady went face-first into the pole.
Wow! That's some crazy stuff.
Now you would think they'd have at least the tables (and other things) bolted down to the floor for that exact reason. Chair would be impossible or at least very difficult to do with people moving them to get up or sit down, but all the tables, desks, book cases and everything else that was moving around, you'd think that would all be bolted and secured to the floor.
Only if that was a permanent location, Smooth. If they were regularly changing the setup for various events (think dining room that doubles as ballroom), the extra "time" to secure everything would probably be determined to cost too much.
Ahh, true, I didn't think about that, that it might be used for other stuff right there. But they still need to do something in the future. Someone could have been injured pretty bad (if those people that got caught in the open and were sliding back and forth with the tables and chairs weren't already injured) from all those chairs, bar stools, tables, etc flying past them or over them. That was really dangerous there if you got caught in the open.
Like you, it looked fun at first, but as the video progressed, man that looked dangerous as hell. Besides the woman who faceplanted into the pole, I was waiting for one of the guys caught in the middle of that and sliding back and forth on the floor with everything else to inevitably get messed up from taking a table or chair to the face or head.
was that a stand-up piano that started rolling into the room at like 40 seconds?
I believe so, yes. Which suggests that even if things were bolted down, it wouldn't have mattered in those seas.
Ok this is driving me nuts. What movie is "I'm gonna take her to Poundtown." from?

Not sure if it's in another movie also but I heard something similar in Friends with Benefits.

You got me man. I've seen neither example but google is always your friend. ;)
Long day at work. Think 1 or 2 of these 12% brews will do the trick
