Is Ryse worth $25 or more like $10 to $15?
Absolutely. God of War style game play with the Gears of War camera, IMO. Out of all the launch games on either system, Ryse was far and away my favorite. The online co-op is actually pretty fun, too. It's disgraceful it got such average reviews. There's no way it deserves anything lower than an 8. Jaw dropping graphics and animations, too.
I'm guessing we're going to get an official drop really soon.
Is the controller that comes with the system the regular wireless play & charge type?
Nope, it comes with regular batteries. Play and charge kit sold separately for like $25. It's worth it just to get the USB cable, which unlike past versions, turns your controller into a wired version when you plug it in and reduces latency. You also do not need batteries or the battery pack as long as it's plugged in.
Same as PS4 - micro USB.
What are some good XBLA games to get for the XB1? I'm definitely going to get Peggle 2.
Peggle 2 for sure. The Halo game (forget what it's called) is worth maybe $5 if it goes on sale, nothing more. Max the Curse of Brotherhood is fun. Killer Instinct is a must download (one character is free, pay to unlock the rest). Skip Lococycle.
Also, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is pretty fun. It's not an arcade title, but at $40, it's really hard not to recommend.
Console delivered and I'm off in 8 minutes :hump:

I'm up and running! Doing the system update now.
Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx since I'm too lazy to get to the CPU.
Good shit man. I've got to head to work for a bit, maybe about three hours, depending on how long it takes me to get my shit done. After that, I'll probably be popping up on Titanfall at some point this evening. Just shoot me an invite if you want to team up.
FYI, Tomb Raider and Thief are both now $29.99 on the Xbox One Store for anyone interested. I believe the sale only last 2 days, though.

Speaking of Phil Spencer, he was promoted to head of Xbox today. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy. He should have been in the position all along.
